Walking Down The Halbeath Road
Clangers replied to Parscelona's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
Joe Cardle did us both proud with a similar predicable style, at our level you get what you pay for and our current management team are definitely looking to pick players who add to the squad (first 11). For the first time in a decade a genuinely feel our recruitment strategy is going the correct way. -

You were very lucky then, my experience of Pars Tv was pretty much you should feel lucky you have anything to watch and don’t complain that probably the first half of the season there were huge problems every game. As a ST holder the idea from Brian was always we are volunteers, despite talking money for the game and providing a piss poor service, I see on .net his service hasn’t improved with every game some unforeseen situation arising. He then used the website to dictate his views and will ban and delete posts to suit, bitter little c***. -
The Guess Who I Just Met Thread
Clangers replied to Musketeer Gripweed's topic in The General Nonsense Forum
I once bumped literally into Terry Butcher is the old Virgin Store on Princess Street and apologised calling him Terry and made a remark about Scotland player, he didn’t look impressed. I walk away feeling all smug until my mate questioned why I had called Jimmy Nail, Terry! Opps. -
As a Par and Scotland fan the season has been surreal, went to 36 games (4 Scotland rest Pars) and only see my team lose once and that was in Pens! Keep having to remind my son this isn’t normal don’t get used to it. The highlights for me have to be the rearranged Falkirk game with a sold out EEP which was rocking and the Scotland v Spain game, the next day I woke up still with a adrenaline buzz.

Wow that interview is a broken man, yes we laughed at his penguin interview before but in that one he looks completely broken and clueless. -

First Among Equals: EOSL First Division 2022-23

My sons team played today at Kenway Star, my first time there. Have to say both teams were excited about it being the u16 summer cup, but loved the hosting. Never been before and the pitched looked in a strange place from google, but loved the greeting at the top of the track and told how to continue then meet with a happy member to pay and get my 50/50. I was concerned about parking (from google) but lots of places and very good rolls, black pudding was fantastic, definitely a enjoyable morning, And extra respect that the access isn’t great and you have decided to fix that with people 5* -
With the Giro starting today it got me thinking about the Tour and the current unrest in France, the last live stage I was at back 2018 was disrupted by French farmers pushing hay bales onto the road. I really feel this Tour could be a easy target, any mountain Cat 1 or HC can easily be stopped with very few people protesting, hopefully I am wrong.

Congratulations Dundee, glad you stuck it up those QP snakes, fantastic game. Shame we won’t get an away day always enjoy it (except the park and turn around this year) -
What will you be doing on Saturday?

Watch the opening TT in the Giro then over to Alloa to watch the (almost) Invincibles -
As the only unbeaten at home team in the Uk this year I was warning my son just now that we might see Goven Pars Union Jacks next season!

The company literally does photo shop and that’s the best they could create! I see the Scottish Tapas up at the retail park’s website is there’s, recently tried to book a table for 3 and none available changed it to 4 and lots of options, they have no 3 seat tables in the restaurant!! -

Nice work on 42, I had thought on doing this once my son is at uni, my plan was to use cup games and per season to massively reduce missed pars games. Did you use only league matches? -
So if they [SFA, Celtic & Ranger) get there way can anyone not see the situation where the B teams games in the championship aren’t played on a Sunday afternoon so the players are available for the first team choices and if not used played against the minions on a Sunday. This will be sold as higher B Team fans (really) and bigger sponsors money (possibly a cut of the prem money), I hate the power those 2 have, the rest of us are treated as insignificant unless they are selling us Scotland tickets!

Walking Down The Halbeath Road

According to Wikipedia we have only used exactly 20 players in this league campaign so looks like rightly so everyone will get one. -
Having gone to both Stranraer and Airdrie games I was already raging at AG and his total petty disregard for the fans and Fass, travelling that distance and for him to not give a shit about the team he put out just to prove a point! To the double down on the last day destroyed any fillings I had for him as a manager, I presume the players felt similarly. Thankfully we have a better management team this year who seems to have a huge bond and understanding of what a team is.
