HoBNob
You still get health visitor? We've not seen one since like the 8 week mark.

Ours has been round once a month and is due back at least twice, she says, until he starts weaning and the like.
SlipperyP
Sport day yesterday and my son won 2 golds. 1st for his school winning the district fitba competition 7 a side. Him being only primary 4 player was the youngest player of all teams. He scores the opener in the final (off his arse) to bag 100 baht also. The wee man has talent, like his old man. Second was for mix teamed netball. Little Skye on her first ever sport day Kindergarten class 1, came 4th in her 50m dash. That was against class 2 & 3 (as it says the numbers are years). I ticked/dobbed (for a few hrs) work to watch Roy win the cup. He never saw/knew I was there during any of the games, I was well out of sight. At the final whistle I was running on the field like Wembley 1977.

Should we still be getting someone? My wife has said a few times she doesn't know why they've stopped.

We've had three visits. Twice in the early months and another at six months where she was in, weighed him, asked if everything was alright and left within ten minutes. Said she would be back when he's around one. No idea what the norm is but she said they are really short staffed so guess that's affecting things.
Jimmy Shaker
We get ours in for a good half an hour each time, goes through his red book in detail and keeps us up to date with meetings or classes that might be happening he needs to know about or might be handy. Guess we've got one of the good ones.

As said though, they are more or less useless. In fact I think ours said "if you have any concerns just message me" My missus was then a bit worried about weird breathing noises the wean was making, so she messaged to ask and she basically said "don't message me contact the main office" That and any time she comes round, she puts any rubbish in a hazardous waste bag and then just leaves it at my front door? I'm always like, why did you do that, if you're not taking it, i'll just put it in the fucking bin outside. She's a bit of a dick tbh. In short, I wouldn't worry about it. ETA: Just realised your location is England, maybe different down there. Edited February 9, 2023 by thistledo

I'm just a lazy b*****d with regards to changing the location, you can't see it on the Mobile page so forgot about it.
Jacksgranda
Great excitement for the 2 youngest granddaughters today as the bin lorry crashed into one of their fields and had to be pulled out by a crane.

scottsdad
My youngest was cooking in home economics today and brought it home for me. "I made pasta. It has mince in it. It isn't raw because it went brown. And it has a stock cube and tomato toothpaste stuff in it." A natural saleswoman.
