Recommended Posts

Just had a customer online by the name of Garth Baader

And loads of kids that I taught with names like D'shawn, K'shawn' Dre'Shaun, Bri'Shawn.......basically pick a syllable then follow it with "shawn" or"shaun"

He seriously wasn't, he was one of those types who hung outside the cathouse wishing he was American. This may only make sense if you were 18 in Glasgow circa 2004

Yes, the Cathouse only existed for that one year and has no reputation outside that period.

I once met a guy called Lionel Pringle.

Now, although this might not look the most American name on paper, the way he introduced himself made him so memorable twenty years on:

In exceptionally strong Deep South accent: "Ma name is Liiiiiiiiiiionel Pringle, that's pee arr ee en gee el ee. Pringle, Liiiiiionel Pringle"

You'd be walking about and would just hear this same line somewhere in the background all day long. Some guy.
