Got some bees nesting up in the eaves of our house. I'm quite happy to leave them alone but should they be removed?

Best to stand directly underneath them and smack them with a long-handled brush. They'll soon know who's boss and buzz off to someone else's house.

Only if they start flying in the windows I'd say.

Jeezy peeps, we've already electrocuted one P&Ber (rip Nkomo-A-Gogo) and now you're getting stung to death based on our advice. Condolences to your family.

It's like there's a P&B Final Destination on the go. Maybe we were all supposed to die at a meetup, but the pandemic put a stop to it and Death is pissed.

@Shandon Par, you're somehow still alive - what's your secret?

He’s been dead for years. The account’s in other hands now.

I had bees in the roof last year. They were there a few weeks and seemed to go away themselves. If they're not getting in the house/windows, leave them.

I’m my experience, get to know the queen, give her some placid casual chat, maybe invite her down for tea one night (order in a nice Barello), get her a bit tipsy, order her a taxi and send her to Aviemore. The other bees will follow her in due course.
