On the main menu of General nonsense why is there a picture under every thread title now? Is there a way I can turn it off as I don't like it?

How did lunch with the Philpy's go?

There was no lunch with philipy ! Was good day out but it rained a bit which got annoying. Pretty rough today!

I would think what's left of it today will either have blown away or be knee deep in mud.

'Agnews'.

Was there a shop chain called this and what did they sell?

As MC said was a chain of off-licences.

Remember the adverts had the punchline of "There's always change at Agnews"

I see my contribution was not appreciated by the moderators.

Never mind, I was able to save it for you.

Maybe he was trying to save you some blushes, and I can understand why.

Was this the one?
(BTW: What boobs are you talking about?)

Also, I was on a training course today which required passport or driver's licence as formal ID, and they called me up on it because it expires in just less than six months. This Aberdeen based course has fcuk all to do with travel but the admin person was saying "I'm entitled to refuse that and send you home" even though I'm presenting a passport which hasn't passed it's given expiry date.

Is she entitled to refuse this or would it have been kick in the pie time had she done so?

Guess it depends what's in the T&Cs of the course offered by the company.

Gut feeling is that a boot in the pie was due, though.
