I have a landscape painting that's been gathering dust for a while that I'd like to get a mount/back (I don't know the proper term) for so that I can put it on my wall. It would appear they gave me the wrong size of shoe (however I cannot prove that this was their error). I worked in JD a few years back and it shouldnt be a problem however I would tell them you bought them as a present for your brother or dad and they didn't like them rather than they gave you the wrong size as they should tell you the size at the till and they might argue that. Or anywhere on the west coast?It's usage is quite widespread in Ayrshire, I think, and I've heard it used in more rural parts of Lanarkshire. I'm not sure about Argyll.
