Davi3j
See if you previously ran a limited liability company and it went bust/bankrupt are you allowed to start another one? As long as its not connected to the old one ie similar name, same type of business etc ETA , there should be no significant consequences. You can continue to act as a director of other companies (though your credibility may suffer). For the next five years, however, you are not allowed to be a director of another company with a similar name without the court’s permission. (This helps to prevent unscrupulous directors of failed companies from setting up a so-called ‘Phoenix’ company which then carries on the same line of business, with a similar name to the failed company, without being obliged to pay back the original company’s creditors.) If you wish to trade under the same name in a new company, there is a procedure to be followed, which requires you to get court permission before you can do so. You should seek specialist legal advice. clicky Edited August 2, 2013 by vip3r
ForeverSinging
It's usage is quite widespread in Ayrshire, I think, and I've heard it used in more rural parts of Lanarkshire. I'm not sure about Argyll. It's definitely not part of the dialect of Glasgow itself. Right thanks
lanky_ffc
If I block somebody on WhatsApp, will they know I've blocked them?
KeeperDee
If I block somebody on WhatsApp, will they know I've blocked them? I THINK that if you block them it doesn't show them the last time you were online. But that may be wrong and it may just show them the time you were on before you blocked them. But other than that they won't know. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
ForeverSinging
I 'liking' on the mobile app the same as greeny-ing on the normal website? If so we appear to have unlimited greenies on the mobile app
ScottR96
If I block somebody on WhatsApp, will they know I've blocked them? No. If they try and send a message to you, it won't deliver and they won't be able to see when you were last online.
ForeverSinging
Right I'm kind of new to this gambling thing. On twitter William Hill offered a £25 free bet to new customers so I created an account. I have got no free bet. Anybody have any idea what this is all about? I haven't deposited any money into the account. Could this be the reason why?

You should have entered a promotional code during registration or during your first deposit. I've just had a quick swatch and the code appears to be F25. I think I'll have some of that myself.

Dee Man
Thanks Oh aye, I should've mentioned, these promos are usually a free bet equalling whatever you put on up to a maximum of £25.
Lexi Collector
Is it OK to drive about with your left hand placed over the gearstick? It won't damage the gearbox will it not?
Hedgecutter
Why do the BBC send people to places half way around the world just to present a 30 sec live report, interviewing absolutely nobody just to say "look, I'm at a beach in Zanzibar somewhere near where the incident happened"?

They don't send them halfway round the world though, they have correspondents located all around the globe and they'll just get who's in the closest proximity to the story to do the report on it.

Could be worse, Sky have sent some poor fecker to Latvia just so he can stand in a corridor and knock on the door of Ask.fm. They wouldn't open the door and the only person he spoke to was on his way back from lunch and virtually blanked him
Lexi Collector
I went to see a mechanic today and he said it can. Not so funny now, is it?
The_Kincardine
Is it OK to drive about with your left hand placed over the gearstick? It won't damage the gearbox will it not? Of course it won't damage it - but why the f**k would it? Just use your left hand for texting.

I went to see a mechanic today and he said it can. Not so funny now, is it? I don't see why you are outraged, he only laughed at your question, albeit knowing that you would be doing damage to your motor. It's just a twist on the 'wind down the windows and turn up the heater patter' That said, have you found a new use for your left hand?

Grabbing photos of my family, or perhaps rosary beads if I'm driving up from Mexico.
