Beat Alloa and we're through as a seeded team. Lose and we're probably out.

Difficult game ahead. Alloa look decent and they are probably through as is, with a draw again more than likely putting them through as a seeded side.

We've signed the young Danish lad Thorsen on a 1 year deal.

I dont get this. Hes 18 on 1 year contract but signed as a apprentice. What age does he not become a apprentice. ?????

Steven Pressley has resigned at Fleetwood Town. Hope they don't recall any loan players to the new manager. Re the new guy. Firstly welcome to the club. Maybe it might be down to international clearance. Coming to the country to train as apprentice may be easier for clearance ????

On looking at the other groups we need to win against Alloa. The teams in the other groups with 6,7 and 8 points have what look like favourable last games. Some have far superior goal difference also. (If that's how it works).

Yeah it's a strange one. They said he's one for the future but only game him a one year deal. I can only imagine that he's shown glimpses of ability in training but not enough to merit being in contention for the first team.

I'm sure if he progresses and adapts to the Scottish game, he will get a chance at some point. We have plenty cover in centre mid just now though.

P.S. You get plenty apprentices at 18 years old.

You almost certainly need 2 points. 10 will get you through. 8 wont and 9 probably wont with your GD.

Yep. A win will have us seeded in the next round, two points would take us through in second. Anything less we're out.

So it sounds pretty straightforward.

All we have to do is beat a part-time team from the league below at home to book ourselves a place in the seeded pot of the last 16?

What can go wrong?

Yeah I think we should just send the reserves out. Give Gary and DJ a game too. Easy peasy.

See there's an open Q&A session being held next we Wednesday with the board and the management team. Within the article it mentions you can also buy tickets for the upcoming Dunfermline home game so guessing that game will be ball ticket.

That's farcical if it is all ticket. When was the last time we had 4000+ home fans ???.

Arbroath v Utd a few weeks ago in the cup, fans were pay at the gate. I bet all our games v Utd , Pars and Hibs will be also.
