grumswall
Vaughan played the full season under Smith. Unfortunately Baz wasted it by playing him as a deep lying central midfielder for almost half of it. Shit, so he did. His first full season though? After the injuries he's had mcglynn will need to manage him well.
baillieinleeds
Oh Lordy. This is excellent news. I was hoping he’d come back, a fit Hendry and Vaughan will certainly shake shit up. Depends who else we sign. Keep them coming McG.

pub car king
I really hope we're looking at the fitness of players, physio and training behind the scenes as last season there was clearly a massive issue with the amount of injuries the squad were carrying. But f**k me a fit Vaughan and hendry are an excellent pair of players to build the team round. Any news on how Falkirk are getting on.

foreverarover
The ramshackled portacabins at the north end is probably the new changing rooms with a simple fix of tying into the current services at Starks. My only question is where is the pitch rental monies going? To repay Mr Sim for the New playing surface Would you be happy to get changed in a portacabin in mid winter. Where are the toilet facilities etc. If its not in place by the start of the season then why the heck would you spend that kind of money and not utilise it properly. This will now be year 2 if the 7 year lifespan of the pitch.
Frank conner
If the pitch lasts that long as,far as I know the contractors will no longer look after the pitch and let's face it we don't have a great track record in looking after things. Even after the floodlights were supposed to be fixed some still don't work.
San Starko Rover
Excellent news signing Hendry, if we can keep him and Vaughan fit they’ll cause teams problems. Keep the good signings coming Rovers.

Of course, given the age of the installation there were some wiring issues, time doesn't stand still and some deterioration is inevitable. Changing the lamps has made a significant difference, which is evident to almost everyone.

Not to mention bringing in floodlight specialists in the first place it was pretty obvious it wasn't just a case of changing bulbs. Typical Rovers

GhostZapper
Fantastic signing and hopefully he's straight back in to preseason and gets over his injury. Exciting start to the summer!

Typical Rovers Frank, I think the lamps were what everyone would have used at the time of install, technology has moved on and LED lamps are now cheaper to install and much cheaper to run which will give savings when were using the floodlights, not a lot the club could have done different to be honest. Getting Hendry is a great bit of business!

We had specilaists in treating fungal infections and insect damage every year. By year 3 the pitch will probably have paid for itself.
