I'm thinking it's the 2.02m Faeroe internationalist aged 26. Fredircksen?. Not exactly a prelufic goalscorer I hope it is. At that height he will hold the ball up to allow others into the game, cause all defences issues just like Kevin James done a few years back at set pieces. Will also get a few goals. Just need to find an experienced CB.
grumswall
In all fairness. Brown hasn’t done much wrong, why take the captaincy from him when Murray’s defensive signings have failed so drastically. What will Matthews offer that Brown can’t? The fact you clearly can't distinguish between the two roles that where described for brown and Matthews is pretty funny in your rants.

Rovers1992/1993
Erm Brown has been the captain for weeks. No amount of Matthews is the Captain will change things. Brown is Murray’s Captain whether we like it or not. Brown is vice captain. Got announced weeks ago. Therefore as Matthews is injured, the vice captain will wear the armband.
Scary Bear
Jules Tchimbakala vibes. Can’t wait. Hopefully he doesn’t break an arm. Have you noticed that in one of our relegation seasons we usually have these crazy/desperate signings with the odd gone to seed past International chucked in? 1996/97 - was the Scandanavians including the failed attempt to sign a porn actor. 2004/5 - Jules and the French 5-a-side team. 2016/17 - Rudi Skacel, Pavol Penksa, Jean-Yves M’Voto I can’t remember the story with relegation the season Nacho Novo was top scorer. Its usually the sort of thing often done when the club captain isn't going to be a regular starter.

raith1974
The encouraging thing about Frederickson if it is indeed him we are looking to sign is his highlights reel shows him playing in proper stadiums with fans, not like Blaise who was playing football at something similar to the pitches at KHS.

Ross Millen was signed for 2 years and spent his whole career playing in front of fans in stadiums. Let's not judge where a player came from.

Dunning1874
Imrie said we were also after an unidentified international centre forward, but chucked it due to the length of time a work permit would take. No idea whether that was Fredriksen as well, but worth noting that Ayr signed David Bangala on 9th June and only got the work permit on 18th August, while Clyde signed Steven Thicot on 12th May and didn't get it until 26th August. If you sign an overseas player now there's every chance they won't be able to play until November; would being an international speed things along much when they're Faroese?
Wardy
You even had Justin Kluivert who was refused a work permit so couldn’t joint Fulham on deadline day. All because he hadn’t played enough for Roma. Rules a bit stricter due to Brexit…
oneteaminglasgow
Just caught up with your thread, and I will be apoplectic if you don’t sign Lacina Traore. Scottish football deserves a Championship strike pairing of Kyle Connell and Lacina Traore.
