AllanJM
Honestly haven't seen enough of Rudden to judge whether he'd be a good addition or not. Goal scoring record is nothing to write home about but you only need to look at the records for Brian Graham and Kevin Nisbet before joining Rovers to see that this doesn't always mean they're not good enough.

It's a case of wait n see, I think the rumours of Gullan who's supposedly wanted by some English outfits as well if they come to fruition would free up a wage (and maybe a little tickle in transfer fee) could well impact which players we bring in, I think Rudden would be a better prospect for us than Gullan, but agree a CH Or FB is the most important I wouldn't mind Ashcroft and Rudden joining Byrne from Dundee
mrraith71
Ashcroft and Rudden are imminent but they hardly get a game at Dundee so to free up money surely we have to let a few ladies out on loan?
pub car king
It is interesting that Gullan is getting looked at by anyone at all. His agent is earning that 10% Edited January 23 by pub car king .
Specky Ginger
I think we get the most out of Gullan when he comes on as a pair of fresh legs up front. We get less out of him when he's sent on as a buckshee forward during Murrayball.
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
A couple of mentions for a FB/LB, Dumbarton let a guy go who is going to a full time club, that narrows it down, not by much.

Rudden has played a load of games this season, scored a few as well, Ashcroft only one game, but we've quite a bit of quality in defence. Both are good enough for Championship. eta Ashcroft on tonight. Edited January 23 by Bigmouth Strikes Again

Both are good enough for Championship. Both would be very good additions. With the latest speculation I can see Gullan leaving and being replaced by a proper number 9. I can also see Masson going out on loan and perhaps Corr as well if we can get Watson and Murray fit.
Bigmouth Strikes Again
Think if you strengthen properly this window, then the league is yours, that Goodwin idiot will bottle crash yet again, nothing surer. IMO. Thank you.

He DOES have a shot on him but we don't see it enough. Jorg Albertz properly went by the same nickname but he was melting them in left, right and centre from all areas and situations. Gullan, not so much. A glass hammer. Certainly the hammer of Inverness.
Ex Machina
Signing the team that won the league last season is an excellent idea imo.
