Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Husband, he's a bender from Kelty? Not very clever young Mr Spence. Why, is he from Kingseat?
Alan y k Dall
Why, is he from Kingseat? You jester! What malt are you consuming this evening?
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
You jester! What malt are you consuming this evening? I've not got to that stage yet, however Nursie has got a nice Glenrothes ready for my midnight drip.
Martin
Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Bill Foy... I don't want to live on this planet anymore. My Dad just told me quite a funny story about this numpty from years ago. One of my Dad's pal knew him and brought him to his house once and he went to go to the toilet, took about 15minutes so my Dad went through to check where he was. He had instead went into my Dad's room and ripped all his posters off the wall and wrote on the bare wall in black marker pen "*incorrectly spelled name* is a poof!" Absolute belter!
roverthemoon
And there you go folks. Footballers tweeting while getting pissed on a night out isn't a good idea. Who would have thought it eh?

Raith Against The Machine
Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Bill Foy... I don't want to live on this planet anymore. I had great fun with him yesterday. He's something else entirely. He reminded me of Peep Show when I suggested that even he could be manager and we'd still stay up, and he liked it. "He took the insult as a compliment. Shit! He could become invulnerable!"
Whistle Blower
Husband, he's a bender from Kelty? Not very clever young Mr Spence. I worked beside a gay guy from Kelty. Who would have thought Kelty would be so accommodating ?
L. Brilliant
Embarrassing. The club doesn't need to go banning players from Twitter etc but it should have a social media policy - if that kind of thing doesn't fall foul of it then it needs to be changed.
DanElderRRFC
Are people seriously getting offended by this?
roverthemoon
I doubt anyone including the player it is aimed is genuinely offended by this lame banter but I'd rather not have RRFC players calling opposition players 'benders'. It doesn't reflect well on the player and by association our club. He's not 15 anymore and should know better.
Jimmy85
To be fair to the homophobe he has deleted the offending tweet.

roverthemoon
Away from the offending/non-offending tweet issue, I tend to avoid the absolute nonsense the Rovers players post on twitter. Call me old fashioned but I find it easier to support them on a Saturday not having seen them in a onesie or watched their woeful attempt to chat up women by calling them a 'ride'. Oh for the good old days when this sort of stuff was hidden behind the closed doors of Jackie O's
L. Brilliant
It's not a matter of being offended exactly, it's that it's embarrassing for the club. Good if he had the sense to delete it.
