We've absolutely nothing to fear, we've triumphed against Premier teams before. COYR

Exactly, they’re clear favourites but it’s not exactly like we’re up against prime Man City.

More chance of ball on the deck and for us to be closer to our best.

They thump it long to White, who either flicks it on for Murray, or brings it down for Dhanda.

The rest of their side sit deep.

County are where they are for a reason and while they improved after changing manager they’ve still been scudded 5-1 by a Motherwell team with nothing to play for dropped a last minute equaliser to their playoff rival and failed to beat a 10 man Aberdeen team with nothing to play for. They’ll certainly be favourites for our playoff but we should go into it with nothing to fear and just play our game.  Try to get something out the first leg and see how it goes.

....and finally...be afraid, very afraid of VAR /shyte Ref combo...it did for us last year in playoffs final....other than it'll be a Skoosh .

Also means no Turner which is a blow given how he's come onto a game.   I've thought Murray playing Matthews at RB has been with one eye on us probably getting St Johnstone and not being able to play Brown, so you don't want to have somebody have to come in at RB without much gametime there.

Is it written in the rules/loan deal that he can't play? Callum Booth played for us v Hibs in the Scottish Cup while on loan from them.

It’s in the rules.

I haven’t seen it confirmed anywhere but would imagine - given the all too likely possibility of us meeting them in the playoff, they’d have had that clause written in.

No need.

In the interview after the game on Friday night Turner said he couldn't play if it was Ross County who ended up in the play off.

Its just a standard rule now that loan players can't play against their parent club, I believe.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

It used to be at the discretion of the parent Club if the loanee could play or not but its now the rule that they are not allowed to play.

Yep, from the SPFL Player Regs:

How many Ross County fans are likely to make the journey on a Thursday night? Might be an idea to give them the Railway Stand and keep the North Stand for home fans.

Saying that, will the home end sell out? You’d like to think so after the Partick Thistle heroics.

If its anything like last year at Firhill it'll  be around 250-300 .

Actually a decent shout that. Pointless potentially locking out fair weather home fans when everyone could probably be accommodated as you suggest.

The south stand will be more or less sold out by tomorrow.

The main stand never sells put but will be busy. So it would be prudent to ask County how many they will bring amd make a decision. Give them the railway stand and potentially split the North stand if need be.

I seen on X/Twitter that a few people were cleaning seats in the railway stand today

12:00 kick off on a Sunday in Dingwall is absolute bullshit. No consideration for fans at all. f**k the SPFL.

8pm in Kirkcaldy on a Thursday for County fans ain’t great either.
