Sounds like Philpy might have moved in.

However, I need to drive about 30 miles to buy cheese and it's shite. Also costs around a days wage for a 250g. One of many loses I have accepted.

Can you not get a big block or a hamper posted over?

Your taste buds change over time and craving for western food are only a memory. Last time my sister was here, I went to Bangkok to meet her, before bringing her back to my village. We always stay one night in the big lights. She asked what you want to eat. I knew of this bar that did western food and was recommended to me. So headed there and I order stake pie, boiled and roast tatties with pies with cravy. It was good, but not as good as I thought it would be, very bland and filling. I never finished it and after about an hour I had to go back to the hotel to lye down as my guts were in torminal.

As said above, my sister comes over once a year, with a hamper (not much clothes) in her suitcase. Not been here for 2 years. Not had a proper tea for 1 year. Melanius Mullarkey
So as it’s New Year’s Eve again, I’ve just received the annual poem from some distant weirdo relatives who live in Australia.
