GrahamJags
Freakender last night was a mixed bag. J. Mahon was excellent, and The Yummy Fur were great as usual. Geese at Tuts tonight. Really looking forward to this one.
Ronaldo Jeremy
Echo & the Bunnymen tonight at the Usher Hall. With an orchestra apparently. I like them in a greatest hits kind of way but my mate had a spare ticket so will go along and see what they're like live.
Harry Kinnear
Thought the Bunnymen were excellent. Seen James in May with an orchestra and wasn’t that impressed, as they slowed a lot of their stuff down but thought the set last night was fantastic and the orchestra was used more to enhance the sound. Mac was in good form as usual.

Seen them loads and he’s always the same. I picked up something about him having 3 fried eggs with his chips but that was about it

tongue_tied_danny
I saw System Exclusive at Beat Generator in Dundee last night. I'd never heard of them before I saw the gig advertised but I checked them out on YouTube and they're pretty good. A really good gig.

Craig fae the Vale
Just seen The National's setlist from Dublin last night. We are in for a treat on Sunday.
AnderooMFC
Some more random ticket highlights from my collection/folder, yay! Spoiler First time out the country myself. Second night at the newly opened Wembley Stadium and filmed for their DVD. Opening acts were a small Scottish band called Biffy Clyro and My Chemical Romance who were on their Black Parade Tour. I don't even care about credibility. It was The Best Damn Thing tour and she was nice and small. Came to the lil barrier at the back of the Academy and signed tickets for everyone. Just don't think she's came back since First guitar pick/plectrum I got. Actually found on the floor of the SECC as I was leaving. Says "Frank Iero Fun Ghoul" on the other side. Danger Days tour in 2011. First setlist I got. I'd already seen The Blackout before and didn't like them, but they supported My Chem at the above date and I finally "got" it. Now seen them 8 times with a 9th booked for next year. This was from a matinee show they did in King Tut's in 2013. They also did an evening show. I went to both.

No idea how, but I had never heard of The National before reading this, quick search on Spotify and I must say I like what I heard, right up my street.
Willie adie
Missed out on tickets to OMD at Glasgow next March Im attending an event the night after and would love to have made it a two day trip, gutted as I don't know if I will see them again, Not really that fair, the whole of Scotland gets just two dates, and nothing north of central belt, Despite teca being one of the biggest 5 venues in Europe

Miguel Sanchez
Bit damp outside for a walk to the Hydro. Hopefully there's not that many people already there. I'll be wearing a New Order tshirt if anybody wants to admit to being from Pie and Bovril.
