Thereisalight..
Don't know why they're making it 8,000 seats, 5,000 would be better and still wouldn't sell out.

Zanetti
Nothing wrong with a bit of ambition. Nottigham used to play in a grubby wee 2000 seater, now look at them. 5 years ago even a 3500 seater was too big for the Clan, I see no reason why if things go well we can't aim for an average of around 5-6k.
invergowrie arab
It's not being built exclusively for Clan, it will be able to hold other events too. I wonder if they have eyes on the playoff weekend or challenege cup final too.
Thereisalight..
Even if it was being built to hold other events as well would "events" go there? Braehead used to host a good few music shows, also had WWE and TNA wrestling events, now they're all at the Hydro
#Gary
Well it was looking like an excellent night for 58 and a half minutes... Edited March 26, 2016 by #Gary
invergowrie arab
Dundee Fife final is what the nation wants to see.
MP_MFC
Watched what I could on the farcical webcast. If you offered me a one goal defeat prematch I'd have taken it but for it to go the way it did...horrid. Fife really are a classy bunch though.
Zanetti
I was there tonight. f**k Fife is all I have to say. We better do them tomorrow.
invergowrie arab
Huge performance by Stars tonight to win 4-2 down in Cardiff. 2-0 up fully deserved. Devils get 2 in a couple of minutes and it looks like we are going to fold but we called a timeout and came back stronger. I think 4-2 flatters the devils we could have had more. The worst thing in sport is when you start to believe. Before tonight I knew we weren't going to Nottingham. Now I think we might which makes it all the more awful when we don't.
Zanetti
I hope Dundee go through. I'm not bitter about it, I want the other Scottish teams to do well except Fife.
Mr Gandosaur
Got my tickets for Stars game tonight. Our usual boozer for Dundee games streamed the Stars game last night - pub was absolutely packed and was bouncing. Was some night.
Honest_Man#1
Appears that Clan lost in the last few seconds of overtime tonight so Fife are through to the finals. Don't feel so bad that I couldn't go now, that must have been a kick in the balls for all the Clan fans at the game. -

Thereisalight..
A heartbreaking night for the Clan (and Dundee).
invergowrie arab
In the lead with 10 mins to go in a 120 minute hockey game is pretty sickening. But if you lose 3/3 PP and convert 0/5 (I think) including 1:20 5 on 3 you sort of deserve it. Will never have a better chance and think I'm right in saying we would have had fife in the semi!!
MP_MFC
Aye. That was a major volley straight in the baws. Clan didn't put them away in regulation and in the OT Fife found another gear, Clan were dead on their feet with no cohesion...if it was won in OT there was only one team doing it. Brown was a brick wall.

You have hit the nail on the head there. Failure to defend, and convert from, power plays have been a recurring theme all season. Thought Stars did enough to merit OT tonight, huge letdown in the end. Optimistic for next season though.
