YHallSaint
When I had my account closed by betvictor they honoured any bets which I had placed and paid the winnings straight into my bank account. Have just received an e mail and this what they are doing. I have nearly 80 Quid's worth of lucky 15's and a couple Trixie's so hopefully hit a big one and take them for a few quid. I still find this all very strange just because I won a bit of cash. What would these places do if you hit one of these big jackpots on the slots or games. It was only a side account I used to get a sign up offer but I've taken a lot more out of hills and Laddies in the past and never heard a peep. Infact I got 7k out of betfred on a Trixie (check win counter page) in October and they sent me an e mail congratulating me and have since giving me numerous free bets.
Loki
They would never close down a casino gambler. In the terms and conditions it will state something like that they operate for recreational gamblers only. If they think you're a good gambler they quickly reduce your maximums. How did Bet Victor close your account Fanny? As they seem to be the only bookmaker wanting to take my bets, and I have had a good run with them.
Fraser Fyvie
Does anyone have an account with dafabet? I've opened an account but all the withdrawal options seem to be through Neteller or Moneybookers who charge on withdrawals back the bank accounts so not sure if it's worth betting with them.

Although if Barry Wilson gets the Elgin job I may be closed down.
FFC 1876
I recieved a free bet on paddy power and so put it on leigh griffis to be top goalscorer in the english league one I assume the bet will just be void but am not sure whether I will get the free bet back or not.

When did you put it on? If it was the start of the season I'm afraid your not going to win

mid-table
I imagine it will be all in or not, and the bet will be a loser regardless of when it was put on. Edit; just seen it was put on in November, that will be settled as a losing bet, because it is. Raith Against The Machine
Apologies if asked before etc etc About ten or fifteen minutes ago I clocked that McBookie were a good two or three minutes behind the club Twitter accounts for the Dumbarton v Livi game. Dumbarton equalised and I managed to get a tenner on them to score Goal 2 before the market was suspended. The resultant fifty quid then went on the same scheme after Livi went 2-1 up. The first bet was settled almost instantly, but the second has been sitting "Open" for about fifteen minutes - but the game hasn't finished yet. What do we reckon the script is? Presumably they've cottoned on to the fact that I've got the jump, and that's fair enough tbh, but will they honour the bet I managed to place or will they just return the stake? And what of the first bet that was already settled? Edit: Nevermind - they waited until full time then paid out in full. *Greggy* Edit again: It would appear they've noticed... I hoicked £150 out my account a wee while ago and my balance is now sitting at -£128! Fun while it lasted... Presumably this is standard behaviour from the bookies. Anything that looks like it might not be kosher and they just void the bets? Edited February 5, 2014 by Raith Against The Machine
Paris Hilltoon
If the money hits your account, other than you never using them again, what can they do? Let them keep the negative balance.
Loki
They might not process the money to your account. With McBookie and bet Victor you can cancel your withdrawal up until a certain time. It then gets processed. I would imagine they have until that period to cancel the transfer. In play bets annoy me, as some as you mentioned are settled instantly and others are not. Gambling debts were not enforceable until 2007. They can pursue you for the £128.00 and it could show up on your credit record. I don't think they would bother to be honest, and if you do get the money in your account just stop using McBookie and probably bet Victor as they are owned by the same parent company. But yes in the small print of their conditions they allow all bets to be voided in the event of a palpable error.
ayrunitedfw
What app/website is the best for online betting(mainly football)? I would like something where I can click on the specific leagues and see all the upcoming fixtures for it, A bit like how the sky sports score centre app is laid out.

welshbairn
I haven't used a site like Bet365 before that offers cashing in your bet. Barcelona scored their first goal last night at 54 mins. Any guesstimates what the cash in price might have been at, say, half time, for a £10 bet on 0-0 at 14/1?

Any guesstimates what the cash in price might have been at, say, half time, for a £10 bet on 0-0 at 14/1? It won't have been that much; generally a game that kicked off at around 14 or 15 for the 0-0 will be about 1.25-1.3 at HT. £30 profit or thereabouts, unless I'm making an arse of working out something which should actually be quite simple.

It won't be 1.25-1.3 at half time. It would be about 4.5-5. If the price was 5.0, you could have traded out for a £20 profit. If the price was 4.5, you could have traded out for a £23.33 profit.

No idea why I was thinking of the o0.5 rather than the u0.5 with the 1.25-1.3 comment.

Loki
I've had to send away photos of proof of ID to Coral to prove identity. Anyone know how long they are to get back to you usually? Just depends on how quickly there staff can verify the details and how busy they are. Have they got back to you yet? If not you could try logging in to them and speaking via live chat.
