D.A.F.C
My girlfriend is English but she's lived here since she was about 8 so she's got a neutral accent. When I met some of her family for the first time it was a real struggle. a Ross-Shire accent and a Yorkshire accent in conversation isn't pretty.Fit like ducky
19QOS19
All English accents are worse that hearing nails down a chalkboard. I'd say I hate more Scottish accents than English ones.
Shandon Par
Mrs Par is a Londoner and still gets a “wid” from me.

buchan30
Don’t mind a geordie/north east accent. The scouse accent usually grates me, but there is a wid at my work from Liverpool and hers is actually quite nice.
Highland Capital
A well spoken Liverpool accent can be nice. A strong Liverpool accent can be one of the worst.

tongue_tied_danny
Worst accent I ever heard was on a guy from the Isle of Man. It was kinda half Irish half coronation street. Fucking hideous.
Cosmic Joe
Pronouncing anything beginning with "w" as "f" continues to perplex me. Who started that nonsense?
19QOS19
Typical Tory. [emoji14] Took longer than I thought tbf! Galloway Irish is only beaten by weegie as worse accentGalloway Irish is probably our (Scotland) nicest accent IMO. Some weegie accents are ok when they are speaking "the Queen's English" but that nasally one is honking. The further North you go the worse they get IMO. Inverness fans were doing plenty of shouting the last time they were here and the accent was absolutely awful.
