We had to get a new washing machine, but had to get one that would fit in the current space. The tumbler drier is in the hall, and i suggested putting the washing machine in the hall as there is more space... I wrote down some sums ( like 12+15, 13+19 etc) just to see if he'd manage to cope with carrying the 1 etc. First sum he does was 12+15 and he's sitting trying his hardest with it. "Twenty six?" he asks nervously. Before I can say no my wife starts cheering and goes "Well done!". The look on her face when I pointed out that maybe she should be doing the quiz as well....
