A shower of charlatans honestly.

I'd be surprised if they are any plans for a fourth stand, the same as there are no real ambitions to get into the premier league

How long can this club pull the wool over the supporters eyes?

Since summer 2009 and showing no signs of stopping

Let's calm down. If a young Scottish full backs going to move to a big team it's going to be tierney not Gallacher.

Tierneys a lot closer to the finished article than Gallacher and will cost you a few million compared to a few hundred k for Gallacher.  One your buying a player for the future the other you'd be wanting in your first team straight away.

Of course, but the teams that are quoted in looking at Tony could easily afford tierney as a project as well.

Not down crying Tony just being realistic

Celtic will be a lot harder to deal with than us. Their more likely to over value him whilst we will probably undervalue gallacher.

Seven hundred and fifty grand for a boy who is currently costing you goals is a ridiculous fee. Ten million? Oh my.

One bad game, tho it still never made his head go down and still did enough to make him not the worst player on the park or even close to it.

I dont think he will start this week and the paper talk is enough to take the heat away from the bad game from being dropped to the bench

So basically you are saying it is just nonsense that clubs are tracking him?

Not at all. However, it's nonsense imo the way the papers and some fans are dealing with this.

Let the boy develop at his own pace without the nonsensical hype there is at the moment.

If only it worked like that and our club didn't want to sell every asset at the first sign of a few quid

Gallacher will end up at an English club and we'll get what we always look for.

£400k cash, £150k after 15-20 first team appearances & 10% sell on clause if he's sold on. Probably some other weird clauses in their too.

I'd much prefer more cash up front & a sell on clause but it's Falkirk we are dealing with here.

I'd much rather he went to Barca. Became the best left back in the world. Then moves onto china for 300 million pounds and we get a cheeky 10% of that. Then go onto buy an ageing Gary Oliver, who will be mortons golden boot winner for the 9th season in a row. And we'll win the league with all four stands and corner pods built. And I can w**k myself into oblivion.

Peter Houston was chatting to Jim White on Talksport earlier about this. No danger of mistaking it for Radio 4. The gist of it was that the Rangers manager says Scottish players are undervalued.

Problem is that a lot of scottish players move down south and simply can't hack it. Aberdeen have got a team full of them.  There's definitely a huge gulf between valuations of players up here and those down south. Mind you there's also a huge gap between your average club up here's players value and players at the likes of rangers. Their players last season weren't all that better than those we had as was shown when we beat them twice but their now talking about millions getting paid for the likes of mackay whilst we struggle to get a few 100k for the likes of Vaulks.

Don't forget their manager too - another who couldn't hack it outside their comfort zone. Don't take offence but Houston typifies our problem. It's like listening to someone from the 1970s. We've been left so far behind by far more intelligent, free-thinking, hard working opponents.

No chance of any fourth stand being built this year as we are hosting MADNESS at the Stadium on the 4th August...
I think that will generate a decent crowd and hopefully earn the club some revenue - Let's face it, we love to earn the cash but we are never in a hurry to spend it.[emoji3]
This is definitely one step beyond!

Only 3 sided stadiums host Concerts?

Also it would take about 3 months on site work before a steel beam went up anyway so we could start groundwork in June easily.

Considering we haven't applied for planning permission I'd assume we aren't going to start any time soon.

Houston moaning about the board not giving him more funds in the paper again today.

Apparently had more installments from vaulks and Kingsley.

A figure of 300k doing the rounds.

We are at a crossroads now IMO. Houston has broken cover that the Chairman won't back him. He has good reason not to. However the team is crying out for new blood, and the Chairman must see that. He has a decision to make now because sitting about while hell burns around him is not an option. Time he got his greasy little face above the parapet and told the support what is going on.

The club is falling to bits around him.

Stories of players falling out with each other, Chairman and manager with no relationship, Directors leaving because of the Chairmans style, other Directors boycotting the AGM to make a c**t of the Chairman, club losing money at an alarming rate, team out of the cup, play off position under serious threat, a pitch that is deteriorating because the upkeep not what it should be.

Not a happy place now. Someone needs to get a grip and quickly.
