Silvio Tattiescone
Quote “All members of the consortium are Falkirk fans and we have not only offered to buy the MSG’s shares, but to also inject a significant additional sum into supplementing the football budget next season, as well as on-going investment in subsequent seasons. “We believe that supplementary investment is essential to maximising the club’s chances of being promoted straight back to the Championship, so we have therefore asked the MSG for a decision by May 29 to ensure that additional funds can be put in place in time for next season.” Interesting

port-ton
Alston coming home and Tidser signing for Dundee and scoring in every game against Morton would be some laugh right enough.BYE BYE FALKIRK
Guest
Be interesting indeed. Ball very much in the MSG court. They (obviously) have zero popular support to risk losing (that left the building a long time ago), so they might not even try to paint this as being beneficial to the long term well being of FFC, and be more open to it being about how much money they can get. Few would give them any credibility if they even tried to control the narrative. Wondering where this puts the patrons/pledges in the grand scheme of things.
ebobsboy
Alston is the type of player we need if we are going to up at the first time of asking. Won't happen though.
Guest
If McKinnon is indeed the manager next season, then he is in exactly the same position as Hartley a year ago. Get it right, and we come straight back up, he’s safe for a while. Screw it up, and his football managerial career is dead in the water. Last time in the seaside leagues with Brechin, he is remembered for the blah blah of his unbeaten run, but conveniently not mentioning how few games were actually won. He dare not try that nonsense again next season. You never know, we might even win the opening league fixture for the first time in well over a decade......

ebobsboy
McKinnon just doesn't fill you with confidence that he has the nous to get us up. If he does you get the feeling it's going to be a monumental struggle when it really shouldn't be. I still wouldn't be averse to him going if a takeover does happen.

ilostmyself
Dan Turner could offer to pay us to play him and id turn him down. He was potentially the worst of the lot, couldn't get picked over Dennon fucking Lewis
