Knowing that anything you want, anything you value, anything you think is good..... can be taken be taken away by Falkirk in the blink of an eye. With no more effort than a seductress winking at a husband who has an ugly wife. You just can't compete. And of course there's the continual "but Falkirk are massive" statements that all your ex's come out with when they join us. Because what they really mean, but can't say, is that " and Morton are tiny. They're not big enough for us". That's it, twist that knife

This one has been a long time in the making. I still don't see any way the existing power structure can remain, even if all the bidders pulled out and only the fans were left. Too much water under the bridge now.

Sack the board, right enough . To many people confusing how the club is run with how we do on the pitch, that's the manager's job not the board. There are loads of clubs who would love to get the backing our board are giving our managers. Ok they could use some PR advise and would definitely do well to let the fans bid get started, it's not a fans takeover, only 25% would be ours, giving the fans a stake that would safeguard the club. I don't see how making us a feeder club for Sunderland is a step forward from what we have at the moment. Any good players we have head to Sunderland and we could get their under 23 stars, how could that go wrong? Answers on an envelope to the "WTF is this crap you've signed Paul" competition.... What an absolute state of a post.

HopeStreetWalker
Good signing and a player that will make players beside him better, best bit of news for months. Surprised a signing before new owners announced though. Leads me to think it's done and dusted and who owns us is about to be announced. What it does tell the support that McKinnon is the manager for next season, he had better put a team on the park that is good to watch and goes for the opposition home and away and from the first game.
badgerthewitness
Let's not kid ourselves. He was swayed by the thought of playing in front of big crowds. Even when we're broken, we're still fucking magnificent. Your thoughts, Virg?

You know your footballing career has turned to shit when at 29 the best gig you can get is a first division club in freefall. As for Falkirk it's a bit like buying a Bentley to tow a slurry cart.

Answers on an envelope to the "WTF is this crap you've signed Paul" competition.... 12-18 months ago I may have agreed with on on many of your points however the actions the current board/MSG have taken since the last AGM are wholly unforgivable, If they had stuck to what was agreed by shareholders they would have stepped down from power with some credibility, (and still a hefty amount of shares) but instead the decided to go against the wishes of the shareholders and try to punt the club to the highest bidder, which now seems to have backfired dramatically. also under the fan ownership model fans would have had a lot more power, even if there total share was only 25% as combined fans and patrons shares would be able to outvote the MSG - something which has been impossible the last few years. ie - no more shady proxy voting. Your correct in that the 2 offers getting talked about at the moment do give me the fear a bit, however at this stage for the they simply have to go, so many fans (and rightly so) aren't willing to hand over money to them so every day the stay on is doing the club harm and they know it. An EGM should be the next step if no further info is forthcoming.
