They fully expect us to be signing proven strikers with consecutive 20+ goal a seasons. We’re in league one. It’s never going to happen. Would be willing to bet these are the guys who’ve gone out and bought season tickets and kits and are happy regardless of the boardroom situation as long as they can go and get a moan each Saturday. Sammon could pretty easily get a mid table championship side and it would be a bit of a coup for us if he drops down to league one level. I don’t doubt that every other team at this level would snap him up in a heartbeat. I'm baffled by it as well. It just shows how many fans are completely clueless, yet they come on here acting like superfans. Sevco in the Third Division would be a good example of this, always struggled on the tight pitches but seemed to win at Ibrox, Broadwood and Hampden convincingly. The tight pitches were a big reality check for their players who weren't used to such conditions (even bog standard changing rooms etc came into it too). Falkirk should and probably will win this division, but as a few of you have rightly pointed out, they won't do it just by turning up. Looking forward to the games against you anyway, been ages since we've had a half decent away support in the league at Broadwood. Whats the script with away fans at TFS this season? I'd like to think we would bring enough to get given behind the goal but most other mobs in this league will only bring 2 men and a dug which won't require it. Edited July 4, 2019 by C. Unforgivable. I am not sure where people are getting the idea that us as fans or players think it will be a skoosh though. If we play 4231 then Sammon's style of play would bring the 3 into play a lot and would expect around 10 goals from a few of them in this league.
