Donate said goods to the local food bank, with a nice little bit of press coverage of the amount donated and how it reflects concern for the club? Afterwards we could get a camp fire going. Sing along to kumbaya etc.

And after we’ve collected them, put Gary Holt in stocks and charge supporters £1 per can to throw at him and we can give the money raised to charity !!
Fawkirk Wull
Dave Mac should name & shame the culprit or culprits who authorised his removal & why it has happened. He is probably too much a gentleman to stoop to their level though

Rugster
On the volunteer thing I was a volunteer for years and absolutely loved it. Imagine being in the dressing room after games with your heroes and particularly on the day we won the 1st division. Drinking beer and having a smoke in the dug out with Latapy, up the town with Moutinho afterwards and all sorts of amazing things for a fanboy. One person ruined that experience and turned one of the best things I’d been involved in into a massive disappointment and left a bitter taste for years. The fucking tent salesman. Not just for me either. He ruined the morale behind the scenes from almost the first moment he came in. p***k.

I rarely post nowadays and wasn’t going to say anything about the Dave Mac scenario until I saw this. It resonated strongly with me, so if you don’t mind I’ll add a couple of things. First of all I know exactly how you feel. On both points. I’ve been volunteering in an official capacity for twelve years (official as in the club know who I am and what I do) and have given up my time as part of a group who helped out for maybe five years before that. I love it. Not just the big things you mention, but the little ones such as driving up to Montrose yesterday and then spending forty minutes blethering to Ian Fergus before watching the Under 18s win 4-2. It’s the personal relationships you forge with people that make the difference and I’ve met some very, very good folk in my time. Unfortunately it’s the relationships with the arseholes that can drive you away and sour you forever. Your experience shows that. I’ve generally found most folk to be decent, or at worst tolerable. I can think of only two individuals whose behaviour towards me led me to despise them but rather than let them ruin it I stuck in and outlasted both. (And no I’m not naming them) She won’t thank me for dragging her name into this, but Sarah Scott sums up that mentality. She was treated abysmally but refused to walk away and won in the end. So will the fans. Stick in, stick around, and eventually by the law of averages we’ll surely get the board, manager and team that we want.
FalkirkBairn2021
I don't think I could choose between the tent salesman and Deans. I despise both of them equally
FalkirkBairn2021
I'd forgotten our scumbag board censured Dave Mac for calling Sevco Sevco. Fucking arseholes. Sums us up really. Kowtowing to the Blue bigots.

I do recall presumably Dave Mac playing Zombie Nation the night we beat them 3-2 and cranking the volume right up on the music at the end of the match. Dave Mac hating the arse cheeks was something to be proud of, not apologise for.
Silvio Tattiescone
I remember him cranking the music up to 11 before a game against the Fifers. Loads of whining from Pars fans and the sweetie paper rustlers on here afterwards but I thought it was great

I regret walking away because I loved it and I shouldn’t have let him win, but I couldn’t go back now anyway as I live 130 odd miles away. Sarah Scott is a fucking gem of a woman and that w****r treated her with total and utter disdain. I’m delighted she saw it through and got to the other side victorious. Not just her though, big Craw and others. He wasn’t the only dick though, and I’m happy to name him but for other reasons, mainly because I think they were influenced and are decent folk I won’t name any others. I made many friends, who I still count as friends, in that time, and as you say the vast, vast majority of the people I dealt with from top to bottom were brilliant. Campbell Christie, Yogi, Jack Ross and Liam Craig are my personal highlights. Liam Craig more recently for personal reasons when he went above and beyond to arrange a get well video for my St Johnstone supporting wife as she was recovering from cancer treatment. He’s just a brilliant guy. Latapy it goes without saying my number one. My hero and a brilliant guy to boot. I do miss those days.
