Seems strange timing going full time on the way down instead of on the way up. Won't be cheap matching part-time players total incomes.

Ayr United did the same strange thing a few seasons back.

Got promoted to the Championship in 2016, stayed part-time and subsequently bought a return ticket to the seaside league before turning full-time in the summer of 2017 and winning promotion again in 2017/18.

Finished 2nd to a team who lost 1 game, Scottish cup semi final and league cup knockout rounds. Some real shite at the end of the season, will give you that, but not sure Mcglynn has proven himself a dinosaur quite yet.

Given the amount of flapping he does you can only hope one day he might take flight.

Couldn't give a toss about ex player news

Vaulks cares more about our club than the current squad of prima donnas put together.

I can’t wait to see him manage Falkirk in a decade or so.

Sheffield Wednesday: total commitment, effort, belief, guts, bottle, willingness to go to the very end

Our lot: just get through the 90 minutes without too much further embarrassment then off on holiday.

There could not be a greater contrast.

Exactly.  Here's the highlights, just released, so we can watch what passion, fight and commitment looks like as part of making an epic comeback on a playoff second leg.

They also have fans that absolutely believed last night. Our support accepted  our fate before they went along, those that did anyway.

A bit rich coming from a club that can't balance their budget with a massive support.  Cove etc. don't exist for the benefit of others and to suggest that they don't add anything to Scottish football is just daft.  They employ footballers and other staff in the same way Falkirk do, just with more success on the park.

While we are at it you should have stayed in the highland league too.

Probably because throughout the course of the season their fans had already seen some fight and aggression in their team and knew that they could respond. What our fans have witnessed most of the season, when the chips were down, is chicken-hearted shitebaggery.

Was thinking the same. Are they rewarding current players that got them relegated with full time contracts?

I think the early intensity and goal they managed got the crowd going! Bit of a 2 way street

Miracles do happen in football, but its very rare hence the name.

We ought to narrow our field of analysis away from Sheffield Wednesday, and keep it squarely on what the f**k we were playing at last Tuesday night IMO. Anything else is fluff.

I agree but sounds like someone was trying to blame the fans a bit!

Ah yeah.... No, not having that. There could be a number of reasons why Sheff Wed went into that match thinking it could be on.

We had absolutely no reason after Tuesday to believe it could be on. There was nothing to indicate we were capable of the turnaround.

Horses for courses. The damage was done by McGlynn and the players, and was irreparable.
