Out of interest, why not? He's been without a club since almost getting relegated with Queen's Park and has signed to sit on the bench for 3 months, is there a reason he'd be sitting on a shooge wage?

Think there's a good chance it's a very cheap signing tbh, for a guy who's played at the level Danny has in the past anyway. Left us because he wants to move back to America and has only signed with them until January while he carries on looking for a club over there; sounds like it's effectively a way for him to keep training while being an option for them when/if necessary.

GunnerBairn Posted Friday at 20:42 Share Posted Friday at 20:42 We done the hard graft in the first half and a thoroughly professional 2nd half, saw us utterly coast it and win with ease. What a team! We have absolutely nothing to fear from any team in the league and now 5 points clear, we've put real pressure on the rest. Absolutely love this team. Firmly in the driving seat for the title at the start of Q2. Whole team superb, and special mentions to Ethan Ross and Brad Spencer. Bring on the 3 home games in a row!

Swordfishtrombone Posted Friday at 21:29 Share Posted Friday at 21:29 Some of the football in the 1st half is the best I've ever seen Falkirk play. We are privileged to watch this team just now.
badgerthewitness Posted Friday at 21:31 Share Posted Friday at 21:31 We're only one point worse off, compared with our points total from last season's first round of fixtures. That is f**king frightening. John McGlynn's Falkirk are wonderful.

The only thing I fear is an early sending off for us or teams shit festing their way through the game at TFS with some serious time wasting (a la livvi did) if we don't score first in the first half. Hoping for a draw at Ayr tomorrow so both teams drop two points. Another week closer to injuries healing too hopefully.

Where ever did they go?

GMBairn Posted Friday at 21:46 Share Posted Friday at 21:46 A good win tonight but if we are being honest a game we had to win if we want to stay where we are in the league. We should be aiming to take 9 from 9 in our next 3 games as well, the 2 worst teams in the league and a mid table Morton, although they do look better than in our first game. It would be great going into the livi game on the back of that and see if they set up for a point again or if they show they are actually a good side, which given their players they are.

There was a lot of condescending explaining how tough the Championship was before we got promoted as if we had never been involved in this league before.

The good thing about being in the position we are is that eventually teams will need to come looking for a win instead of shitfesting and time wasting for a draw like Livi, and from what I've seen so far, no team has the final third play to do any real damage
