Mr Bairn
Can't find anything online about the length of Paul Watson's contract
Mr Bairn
That is correct. McCracken has played enough games to trigger a new contract I believe. f**k sake.
Bairney The Dinosaur
That Falkirk squad would have finished bottom this season with a league containing Dundee United. Really? A championship squad would have finished bottom of the premiership. Shocking.
BottiBiabi
Luke Leahy posted a picture on Twitter of him and Alston saying something along the lines of "don't leave" but has since taken it down
tubbybairn
I thought leahy looked like he was saying his goodbyes after the final whistle yesterday. Telling that he and Alston were the last two off the pitch I think.
Shadwell Dog
Not as far in front of you. They mauled you yesterday and realistically could have easily won by more. That Falkirk squad would have finished bottom this season with a league containing Dundee United. Thats why the playoffs are so unbalanced. Kilmarnocks budget would have a million pounds at least as a start through prize money against us and yet were supposed to compete with them after two tough games against hibs. Its virtually impossible for a team our size to do that.

It's not virtually impossible. You beat Hibs and Rangers last season who have bigger budgets than Killie. You didn't play well on the day, it happens.
Ludo*1
Thats why the playoffs are so unbalanced. Kilmarnocks budget would have a million pounds at least as a start through prize money against us and yet were supposed to compete with them after two tough games against hibs. Its virtually impossible for a team our size to do that. Hamilton did it. And it's really not impossible, nor is it even virtually impossible. Kilmarnock played 38 games, you play 36 in the Championship. It's not exactly unreasonable for you to play 2 more games. Also, there should be an obvious advantage to the team that's still in the Premiership if this is the system we use for the play-offs.
Shadwell Dog
Hamilton played a dreadful hibs side for starters. Killie havent had to play two high pressure games against hibs in the run up to the final. They were able to rest their best players after being confirmed in 2nd bottom early. As i said the premiership teams budget is going to be far more than ours so its no surprise they'll have a better squad. Once you win promotion at least then your on a far leveller playing field to compete. Playoffs are good but it shouldnt involve the top flight club but the next 4 in the champ with 2 automatically relegated.
Hughsie
What's the story with Liam Dick? Can't remember if he's on loan or not? Is he good enough to potentially replace Leahy? Or at least get the opportunity to make the position his?

That Falkirk squad would have finished bottom this season with a league containing Dundee United. We played Premiership teams in five games this season, and would've taken six points. Only one of those games was at home. We didn't turn up yesterday and lost to a better side. -
18BAIRN76
That's Kevin McCann confirmed as away on Twitter. Surely ranks up there with Toufik Zerara, Mehdi Khalis, Kenny Deuchar and Iain Flannigan as the most pointless signing ever.
Reggie Perrin
If Leahy can get a better deal elsewhere after his shocker on Sunday his agent should be representing Messi and Ronaldo, not very average Falkirk players.
