4800 tickets sold for tomorrow. Great going. Who was it that said an increase in season tickets would mean a decrease in the number of PATG?

Over the course of the season it almost certainly will unless we go on another invincibles run.

That’s Michael McGovern retired. A bit of a shame as I always thought he might come back before he did, but it doesn’t always work out. One of our best keepers in the club’s modern history imo.

Coaching at Queens Park I think so will be in the dugout tomorrow night.

Not sure that the attendances will go below the 4500/4800. Yes the crowds will drop seasonal, but I’m sure the supporters will continue to back the club, if the squad give us 100% each game.

The crowds won’t drop but the proportion of ST to PATG has changed.

The Hamilton debacle should be another warning to fans who allow their club to be taken over by individuals with no connection to their club.
We have had our problems over the years but at least since 1998 we have been run by people with that connection. Yet we nearly did……….

Hate to think what state we would be in if that fantasist had gotten his feet under the boardroom table a few years back.

An Ode to the Bairns

The bairns are back against old Queen’s Park on a lovely summers eve

What tricks and flicks will wee McGlyn have up his tracksuit sleeve?

The last five years saw many tears among the Falkirk loyal

Lost countless battles in choppy league one against Airdrie FC destroyer

Can the bairns go up? Can they do it again? That is not a wild suggestion

Falkirk are back in the championship. That is a statement, not a question.

I think you're getting us mixed up with some other club mate. Falkirk loyal!? F*ck off!

Falkirk faithful, thank you very much.

Incidentally, I see they have their shop all painted next to the Howgate.

Loyal; destroyer.

Even Eminem couldn't make that rhyme or flow.

A fair effort, well done.

The 'battles at sea' stanza is a shocker though.

I have to disagree.

There’s some really well thought out ideas in that stanza. A sea of Falkirk tears.

A nod to not only the standard of football in league 1 but a continuation of the theme of the ocean through the use of ‘choppy’.

Doesn’t get much better than that.

To be fair, there was a time when Clydebank was full of warships so I guess it makes sense…..
