If you've ever heard Rae post sacking he's hilariously bitter about Jack Ross.

A seething mess of an individual.

Had to admire his knowledge of Ross' stats compared to his own. You just know he had a Jack Ross voodoo doll in his house.

I'd imagine Rae has other things to be seething about now the taxman is knocking.

I'd love it to be a manager who plays exciting attacking football so McCall would be great. I watched some great football under him last time and he has Ayr scoring for fun.

while hopkin and McIntyre would be experienced and safe hands I think the football could be dopey to watch. we'd probably get safety but not pretty.

none of the other names float my boat. Neilson looks okay but doubt he'd take it.

That's why I liked the idea of Caldwell. His Wigan side scored tons of goals as well as winning.

Dunfermline fans say McIntyre's fitba was very good to watch so that cheers me up a bit. I hadn't really seen much of his teams and thought he was a dour manager. Wrongly it seems.

I don't want him but if we do end up with him do we revolt and get on his case or give him a chance and back him to get us out of this mess.

Jim McIntyre would be my first choice and I hope we get him.

Get on his back, he'll get two games in and have a meltdown.

McIntyre had us playing really good football in the old First Division, and won us promotion. He was a poor and naive SPL manager but I believed he learned some lessons during his time at County.

We simply do not have the players to play the sort of football we did in 02/03. That was a battle hardened and extremely talented squad. The guys we've got just now... not so much. We'd need AT LEAST 3 instant starters to even look at an aggressive attacking strategy like that team had.

No point in having managers that have been sacked like Mourinho, and Ancelloti etc.

Nope, no losers. Had Man Unt applied that rule they wouldn't be in the shit they are now. They should have gone for the boy from Bournemouth. Obviously, you need to target someone at a lower level so they have ambition other than that it's a simple formula. Don't want any other teams to cast-offs, managing is about belief in yourself and the group once that belief turns to doubt after a failure it's very unlikely they will have anything like the same success again. It's my line of work and recognised trait but I don't want to endure McIntyre for a spell before that becomes apparent and I would take no pleasure in telling you I told you so. My opinion is we would almost certainly enjoy success if we appoint someone like John Sheran at Cove Rangers always punching above his weight, an absolute stickler for detail and definitely on the way up.

Sitting close to the dugouts on sat and Naysmith looked enthusiastic, had a bit of charisma and was constantly talking and coaching his players, certainly cant be overlooked, although in the short term with the players we have I think Hopkin would suit best for this squad given the proximity to the deadline there cant be a lot of movement transfer wise and his style of play last season would suit our big centre halfs and forwards if he can motivate them to be a team and fight. Big ifs though

Doubt he'd come/be available but would anyone give Graeme Murty a chance?

If he applied, I would give him more consideration than some of the others mentioned, like Dick Campbell.

We need someone who can motivate & instill confidence as opposed to a bully like Hughes. Don't really think Murty is that man although he knows the game.
