stonedsailor Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 Is this him? He initially concentrated on all aspects of private, non-contentious work particularly domestic conveyancing. He now specialises largely in commercial conveyancing including: the acquisition and disposal of land and premises for commercial development commercial work for Housing Associations acquisitions and disposal of businesses commercial and domestic leases domestic conveyancing It should be borne in mind that he is a Celtic fan who was struck off as a solicitor for dubious practices. As for the company names registered they look to me like some punter hoping to make money by later selling the name. To me, they look more like they were set up by a solicitor who specialises in liquidating companies. Their registered office costs £200 per month to maintain hardly the kind of investment you want to make, just in case someone might want to buy the name later. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
7-2 Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 Is this him? Gerard Moran? Obviously a Kafflic b*****d. One of the enemy. HarrogateBlue will have added him to the list. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bearwithme Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 (edited) Some quality playing the man there. Ignoring the fact he says he's not a Celtic fan, thoughts on his figures? I've never seen him say he's not a Celtic fan. It's difficult to ignore something that has never reached you. If he's really not a Celtic fan he does a damn good impression of one. I really don't know about his figures but he says himself they "may well be wrong". At least he's got a wee bit of honesty about him. Maybe he's learned a lesson or two since his days as a solicitor, who knows? Edited April 20, 2012 by Bearwithme -2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Handsome_Devil Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 There's a bit on his blog talking about who he supports. And even if he was a Celtic fan, what of it? He makes it clear he could be wrong since he's using numbers from the public domain which are the best he has available. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
WaffenThinMint Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 It should be borne in mind that he is a Celtic fan who was struck off as a solicitor for dubious practices. Proof? Or is this all conjecture against the messenger of bad tidings? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sjc Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 Not being an expert on such things - Can Rangers trade as an offshore company? Offshore being England. Scottish based companies MUST be registered at Companies House - Edinburgh. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chuckinho Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 Proof? Or is this all conjecture against the messenger of bad tidings? Surely being a Celtic fan isn't enough to be struck off for dubious practices. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~ Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 I've never seen him say he's not a Celtic fan. so he must be a Celtic fan then? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
welshbairn Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 I've never seen him say he's not a Celtic fan. It's difficult to ignore something that has never reached you. If he's really not a Celtic fan he does a damn good impression of one. I should also say, as it has been the subject of ill-informed speculation, that my footballing heritage lies at Cliftonhill, where the mighty Albion Rovers play, and which was the scene, on Saturday 5th November, of a remarkable 7-2 victory over Airdrie! http://scotslawthoughts.wordpress.com/about/ 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ross. Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 Again, going back to the RTC blog which the guy contributes to fairly regularly, he claims to follow Albion Rovers, but I think he also said he used to watch Celtic. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bearwithme Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 so he must be a Celtic fan then? Read my whole post rather than taking a bit out of context and you should understand what I was saying. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
archie guevara Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 Scottish based companies MUST be registered at Companies House - Edinburgh. But you can't register a company in Scotland that has the same name as one in England... and those names are now registered. Big deal though, since they could call the company Bill Ng Ltd and trade as anything they choose within reason. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
