HibeeJibee
some juicy extras, like the Souness bung I have to say I'm pretty sceptical about that. Now, clearly you don't give someone £30k for nothing - but Souness is a wealthy man and was an operating manager at an (at the time big) EPL club, signing a decent player from an outfit flush with money. It doesn't make a lot of sense why he'd risk taking a comparatively paltry £30k in a bung (he was probably being paid more than that in week?)... nor why Rangers in 2001 would be bunging anyone... nor why they'd do so through EBTs and not something less formally documented. That's my reaction, anyway.
DeeGeeOneHamer
To be fair there were parts of the scoop tht were bloody cringeworthy.
Steve McQueen
I only saw the 2nd half & really don't have any desire to watch the 1st half. Apart from Prince Albert did we not know most of what was 'revealed'.
pozbaird
I know this is stating the bleedin' obvious - but the very moment it looked like Whyte actively wanted Haudit & Daudit - every single P&B poster collectively went 'WTF!' We had them sussed the moment, the instant, the nano-second we heard that the stand up guy wanted them. Then their never-ending 'negotiations' with the players, ZERO compulsory redundacies, elastic deadlines... Fcuk me sideways with a limbless Joanna Lumley - Stevie Wonder could have seen through those two.

flyingrodent
In civil law cases like the Big Tax Case, all HMRC would have to prove is that on the balance of probabilities, Rangers probably defrauded the taxpayer. (Thinks about content of documentary) They're boned. That's a big flaming jobby parcel on the SFA's doorstep too, given how they reacted to Whyte spending the PAYE money. Can't see UEFA being that understanding either.
ray_of_licht
From everyone's favourite forum Is it not time we took this to another level? Would everyone who went to manchester, blockade the Scottish Parliment? I think so! If its being described as a Scottish instatution, lets make them step in and save this massive con on one of theirs and our instatutions!

chrismcarab
Haudit and Daudit being up to their eyeballs in Whyte's dodgy takeover scheme and funding via Ticketus in the first place, showing their £25 million writ against Rangers old lawyers to be a complete smoke and mirrors job more to con prospective new owners that there was £25 million more money coming in to pay off Rangers monster debts This ^^^^ is the best bit by far for me. Just because they raised a lawsuit, doesn't mean they ever intended to see it through. Case would have been dropped quicker than a pair of Primark knickers on a night out in Govan if they'd offloaded the club by now. Just a shuffle of the pack and a card from the bottom in order to get more players to join the game. Probably picked that trick up in Casino Square after drinks with Prince Albert
chico
Administrators statement Paul Clark, joint administrator, said: "The use of EBTs at Rangers goes back many years and was a matter of public record in the annual accounts."Our primary focus has been ensuring the survival of Rangers Football Club and attracting a new buyer for the business as well as investigating the financial situation at the Club since the takeover in May 2011. "We and the Club will continue to give every assistance to the football authorities on issues affecting the Club. It should, however, be noted that the First Tier Tax tribunal has yet to publish its findings in relation to the use of EBTs." http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/football-news/article/2786811 Edited May 23, 2012 by chico

HibeeJibee
I only saw the 2nd half & really don't have any desire to watch the 1st half. Apart from Prince Albert did we not know most of what was 'revealed'. Yes: but I think there is a halfway house between the 2 views being exposed by some posters thusfar... the "it was so explosive I was blown out of my seat" school, and the "I was so underwhelmed I've ended-up directly under my whelm" school. There was more detail on certain aspects - notably scope of EBTs, Murray's great charade, and D&P's prior involvement - and the odd thing about Souness. I didn't there being astonished by scoops or smoking guns, but it still had plenty to offer, and it was a good "summing-up" too.
