Massively active and well-respected in non-league darn sarf. Not much point up here where, at least up until now, the survival of clubs has been entirely up to who knows who in Hampden's inner chambers.

We've heard not-a-peep for weeks/months.

My message to the SFL clubs regarding Sevco/New Rangers/ICBINR/Whatever,

C'mon the diddies, make Scotland proud and show the SPL, SFL, SFA, west coast media and the rest of them that sporting integrity matters far more than a quick buck from the Murdoch empire.

From Supporters Direct? Not surprising considering how busy they've been with the Kettering / Darlo / everyone else madness.

The Non League Show still tries to help with matters Scottish (the Sevco situation got an airing this week due to Dave Anderson's allegiances): could always try tweeting @nonleagueshow to get Caroline to poke them.

Orc mentality on newco media ! every title anyone else will ever win till they return to their rightful place pissing on the rest from the top ! TAINTED :o.

Tainted because it's apparently a one horse race only,by that logic any title ever won is tainted because only one team should have won it by 3proddy69's reckoning.

The OP on the thread tried to turn it around by what if it was Celtic who did what SDM & CG did to TFCKAR and how they would feel ! let's just say the replies are not ? SANE.

Our Fans' Trust made this announcement today after attending the FFC Board meeting:

Bairnstrust Board Representative, Alastair Brookes, attended the club Board Meeting today.

The Trust had previously met on Wednesday night and discussed the latest sketchy proposals from the football authorities.

Bairnstrust have come to the following conclusions;

1. Fans want change much sooner that this proposal.

2. There is far too little detail in this proposal to make a proper judgement in such a short time period, whilst acknowledging there are many parts of it which are what supporters have asked for in the past.

3. Bairnstrust have not changed their view on Newco and the proposals in this outline plan we believe should only be discussed on the premise that all Newco clubs start at the bottom of the current league set up. Asignificant majority of fans, including Newco fans, want Newco in Division 3. Why does the game consistently ignore what its customers want on this issue?

4. Bairnstrust believes supporters have no confidence or trust in the current senior office bearers in the game in Scotland and would like to see changes made to rebuild that confidence and trust.

5. Any working party formed to re-structure the game should have some involvement from supporters as the McLeish report recommended.

6. Any decision made on Friday by the SFL clubs should be respected and the authorities should abide by the SFL's decision but still implement change to re-structure the game.

7. Bairnstrust believe that any decision other than entering Newco into Division 3 will lead to many fans turning their back on the game throughout Scotland. We also believe however that fans will support clubs in greater numbers than before if the game is seen to be upholding sporting integrity.

We understand the club have a difficult balancing act in very difficult times, however we believe this is still a plan to fix a short term issue for a minority of clubs in Scotland and gives no firm guarantees of the changes in the game the supporters want. Add this to the fact that the change is proposed to take place over four years, Alastair was directed to argue that the club should reject this current proposal unless Newco is entered into Division 3.

We have consulted with a number of Trusts from other clubs and their views are broadlly the same as Bairnstrust.

T. Paterson

Bairnstrust Chairman, of behalf of Bairnstrust Committee

So far there has been masses of opinions from old Rangers players, the head of the SFA and the head of the SPL all saying armaggedon, our game is rubbish and Sky wont pay for it.Only one we havent heard from are Sky,who must be rubbing their hands together at this talk down of the price they should pay by the suppliers.Obviously they must go along with this even if they had no intentions of cutting the price.

I bet Tesco or Asda would love suppliers like this telling them to cut their offers.

Possibly not the best approach to business I have seen.

It's also becoming abundantly clear that there was already movements afoot to bring intolerable pressure on SFL to let Rangers straight into the First Division. Infact for all we know Michael Johnstone abstained in opposition to this, not support for Newco into SPL.

Until we know which SPL clubs knew what, when, there's no space for arrogance over what SPL clubs did, and why they did it.

I include Hibs in that as much as any other.

From a few whispers I have haerd it may also have led to Derek Weir's resignation from the SPL board.

From Supporters Direct? Not surprising considering how busy they've been with the Kettering / Darlo / everyone else madness.

If only there was a Scottish branch of Supporters direct that didnt have to deal with Kettering/Darlo/everyone else madness and which could instead concentrate on Scottish matters. If only said organisation had a head who had started this week and who was looking to make his mark, If only said new head had said something like - "It is a real privilege to be given this opportunity to help represent the interests of sport’s most important stakeholders. This is a crucial time in Scottish football. I firmly believe that now more than ever, the voice of the fans should be heard loud and clear and Supporters Direct Scotland will be pivotal in making sure the opinions of fans are influential."

IF ONLY!
