So basically if you are a thick rich bear come and burn your money with Dave King, never learn Why keep calling it an investment..... There is a possibility of a return on am investment. He can fire as much money as he wants to waste of his and anyone else he can con into buying shares at this mess......it will not work if you are spending more than you can ever get as a return....Clowns
Ken Fitlike
raises eyebrow at the concept of King 'losing' £20 million at any stage of the proceedings. Bearzzz.... seriously, you need to get FC Rangers of Govan up and running.
dave.j
So the convicted criminal is going to launder 30m of his "own money" through The Rangers? -
sjc
So the convicted criminal is going to launder 30m of his "own money" through The Rangers? Will he pass the "fit & proper person" test? I'd normally say yes due to the difficulty & expense for the SFA to prove otherwise but just look at Cellino/Leeds & the FA yesterday!
Gaz FFC
38 hours to payday and Sevco have already had to move a match because of a few grand to the polis. Can see a few unhappy players on Thursday morning once they've looked at there bank accounts. Still as it's Rangers (honestly it is) they play for the jersey and no the cash.

Is there any truth in this or will it just be another anti-climax like last month? Edited March 25, 2014 by sjc

BossHogg
Why doesn't King put his £30m in a trust?...oh thats right hes a liar.
Gaz FFC
Is there any truth in this or will it just be another anti-climax like last month? Well the game with Celtic has been moved because they couldn't pony up a few grand upfront. They also borrowed very publicly £1.5M last month just before payday to pay the reported wages of £1.2M (I believe that's the figure) a month. I'm reading between the lines obviously but it certainly all points towards a cluster f**k of a month.

dave.j
I'm sure No.8 told us it wasn't to do with money... @scotzine: Despite STV stating both clubs, only Rangers have refused to pay the costs of policing the youth game between Celtic - Rangers. Due to cost. -

Apache Don
Why doesn't King put his £30m in a trust?...oh thats right hes a liar. That would seem a fair question for the fans' groups to ask of King. If he was to place the funds in a trust account, it would be a gesture of intent that would surely sway the 'King sceptics skeptics' among the support.
Double Jack D
So, a company worth £20m needs £50m worth of financial support over the next 2 to 3 years to win a football competition which delivers prize money of circa £3m. In what way is this the real world which we live in?

In what way is this the real world which we live in? The world of a club who are famous for quotes like "you spend a fiver, we will put down a tenner" It's funny if it wasn't so bloody serious. The powers that be here will help them in the event of it all falling apart again also. That's the really sad part.
BigBadSaint
Why keep calling it an investment..... There is a possibility of a return on am investment. Hmm he likes that word...told thousands of South Africans what a good "investment" they were making in the company that he was secretly selling millions of pounds worth of shares in....then known as immoral practise, now classed as fraud.
