A little reminder to the Orcs. BIG companies like MASH and rich shrewd business men don't normally lose in the courts. The certainly don't lose when they hold a huge purse and the other party is using cheap or free legal advice.

A wee warning shot from the Ashley camp I think.

The capacity of big businesses to behave as they wish in this way by bullying the little guy is ordinarily depressing.

When the little guy in question, thinks he's representing what's best for Rangers however, the irony makes it delicious.

I'd have thought that the best way to win a war was to win the smaller battles, not pick ludicrous ones on a spurious premise, before being humiliated.

So essentially, Mark Dingwall didn't raise enough to cover the legal costs that would come his way when he was laughed out of court, so decided instead to capitulate and try and claim some kind of credit where there is none, rather than go with it and end up out of pocket?

Doesn't *anyone* at Sevco read contract agreements before signing them? Why on earth didn't they give these guys full medicals before agreeing to this?

That's kind of the point. Remember, at the time, Clipboard Kenny was in 'control' (i.e. being told what to do by the Ashley-dominated board). Ashley probably - and very wisely so - saw his regime coming to an end so did as much to put liability onto any new administration as he could, hence the IP transfer and the simply ludicrous loan arrangement here. Shift one fit player and four crocks to Ibrox? Doesn't matter where the injured players are sitting while both clubs are effectively under Mike's control, but if he was to lose control of Ibrox then it would be a further millstone around the necks of the replacement board.
