Hamilton's Moroccan-themed pub a decade before themed pubs were popular and where the clientele linked arms and sang New York New York after last orders were shouted. I did an HNC in Metallurgy at Bell College but the discos were always shite. Such was the demographic then (1977-1981) that men outnumbered women by about 10:1. I only recall getting my Nat King once from a Bell College disco and that was from a lassie who worked in the same place as me. That would be about the same time I was haunting the bars of Hamilton.
