Quitongo's Left Peg
Hopefully I can become some sort of journalist that has even a teeny bit of merit because IMO there is a space in the media up here for someone to speak out against the Old Firm and stand up for the diddy teams
freethefalkirkstreaker
Here is an idea . Hows about all the SPL chairmen have a raffle of season ticket holders the winner of said raffle at every club gets to cast the clubs vote on the newco issue???

freethefalkirkstreaker
i like purple helmets... I thought the Blue Knights were told their bid was too low and unlikely to be accepted by the creditors, hence Miller being given preferred bidder status? Given that they don't appear to have any more money to put in the pot, shouldn't they be re-named the Barren Knights?
WeeHectorPar
Another RM dickhead. http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=219607 "UEFA insists a CVA is a change in legal status and means a three year ban – just like setting up a Newco: “It’s a loophole. We recognise it as a loophole and we wish to close it,” their spokesman told me late last week."whats a loophole? is he saying a CVA is a loophole to avoiding the 3 year ban? If so, then whats the fuckin problem, D&P are right, we will be in europe. this guy is a bias dick who has a new found popularity with the scum who as the only journo who agreed to publish anti-rangers tripe to fit the agenda. what he is saying is that any team going into admin then = 3 year ban, which simply isn't true. Real Mallorca were in admin last season and hence banned from the Eruopa this season, but thatst he extent of the ban. And a CVA clearly should not be the same punishment as a CVA. A CVA is basically just a cutting a deal on your debt. Why should that hold the same punishments as liquidating your company, not paying any of the debt, and then just starting a new club? Guys an idiot. Future tense/Past tense should not be that hard for even a brain-dead bluenose junky to understand. And clearly Rangers FC should not be the same as Rangers FC (RIP) As for wondering why it is okay to pay back 1% of your bills and carry on as though nothing had happened , I give up. These fvcking tossers are beginning to do my head in. I just hope this doesn't go on beyond the 2nd of June.

These idiots merely reflect the policies of their employers and they`re bottom line is that the OF are to be lauded daily and criticised only in the vaguest terms.
BigBadSaint
"Sporting integrity? There is no sporting integrity, never has been Look at the Olympics " Yes Let's look at the Olympics with one of our own best results - Alain Baxter won a bronze medal and was later found to have a trace of banned substance originating from a Vicks inhaler. Not 10 years of doping and cheating all the other skiers ...a one off simple mistake of not knowing US vicks was different to UK. And what happened. Kicked out...no medal.

THE KING
Rangers Media is back up. YES1 And straight back with casual death threats... Darrell King on the radio tonight seems pretty convinced that all these new bidders, consortiums etc are a load of shite and that D&P have been part of Whyte's plan all along. He said he wouldn't be surprised if HMRC asked for them to be removed. According to him Paul Clarke agreed a figure of £9m plus with Brian Kennedy on the Friday last week, then did a U turn on it a couple of days later. King stated categorically that D&P then drove to Kennedy's house in Manchester and pleaded with him to go the Newco route, and that if he did it was his. Kennedy told them where to go and the rest is history. This fuckin Abbot & Costello double act had better watch if it comes out that they are fucking us over (and it will become very clear over the next couple of days). They will very quickly become 'dead men walking' and are well within range (no hiding place for them).
7-2
"Sporting integrity? There is no sporting integrity, never has been Look at the Olympics, yadaa yadaa yadda" He is a cvnt for certain. For once, he's almost right. There hasn't been genuine sporting integrity for ages. For a start seeding wouldn't exist in an environment that was truly based on sporting integrity. Let the big man win and sod everyone else.
eindhovendee
Just to put things into a bit of perspective here, Fabrice Muamba wasn't even famous when Rangers entered administration. That's how long it's actually been. Lucky for him he didn't have Duff and Duffer trying to make him better.

7-2
Yes Let's look at the Olympics The Olympics is the biggest example of total hypocrisy. It's a money making machine using 'sport' as it's vehicle. You do know it's still an amateur competition?

TheTaxMan
How in hells name can they expect to get the sale through before the end of the season (Sunday). I'd have thought any bid now being received will also require them to have a look through the books....and then allow for them to do a runner. Incidentally, are any of these bids final...or have they even submitted an offer to D&P? Depends which 'end of the season' you mean really, according to this it's already 'end of the season' http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/celtic/98728-celtic-scoop-four-trophies-in-scottish-premier-league-end-of-season-awards/ According to this it's, as you say, sunday http://www.scotprem.com/content/default.asp?page=s49 Plenty folks would say the 'end of the season' is after the Scottish Cup final a week on saturday. If Haudit & Daudit have anything to do with it they'll be working towards the 'end of the season' being after the English League 2 playoff final on 27th May, and then they'll have to set a deadline........
Claymores
Wouldn't it be great if Hibs gave Brian Kennedy a lifetime ban from Easter road just for his disservice to Scottish Football in giving Ranjurs hope! Just a random thought - I'm just getting to vindictive
