Nizzy
Indeed, a quick sale in order to ensure payment of some sort can be made to any creditors. However, legally the administrator is obliged to receive as fair and appropriate a price as possible. If they sold Ibrox for £50 for example, HMRC could challenge the administrators in court. Very true. Remember, also, that Craig Whyte is Rangers biggest creditor...

GreenockRover
Would the scenario that a few of you are saying will happen (Rangers being liquidated and then being allowed back into the league debt-free) see them losing all their players/stadium etc.? Technically, yes. But whoever bought it would be looking for a team to come play there and charge rent for them to do so. I wonder who would want to play there Hmmm ?

Tartan Jag
Tesco have been fighting over the last few years to expand their Milngavie store but have failed to secure land/refused planning permission. Where is Murray Park, why it's just round the corner.
GreenockRover
Yes. Your joy at anything that could possibly mean good news for Rangers in this situation has been unrestrained. As I said, fooling no one with the crocodile tears. In that case, and with that amount of insight maybe you should be working for HMRC as well Your incredible powers of deduction delusion are ...... well.... incredible Fandan.

Guest
Rangers fans on the internet machine suggesting that they boycott away games, and give the money they would've spent on tickets to Rangers every other week. "That'll show them how much they need the Rangers" apparently. They showed the other week that most of them don't even want to pay money when their team is playing, fucking idiots.
