Big Rangers Administration/Liquidation Thread - All chat here!

Recommended Posts

Indeed, a quick sale in order to ensure payment of some sort can be made to any creditors. However, legally the administrator is obliged to receive as fair and appropriate a price as possible. If they sold Ibrox for £50 for example, HMRC could challenge the administrators in court.

Very true. Remember, also, that Craig Whyte is Rangers biggest creditor...

Would the scenario that a few of you are saying will happen (Rangers being liquidated and then being allowed back into the league debt-free) see them losing all their players/stadium etc.?

Technically, yes. But whoever bought it would be looking for a team to come play there and charge rent for them to do so. I wonder who would want to play there Hmmm ?

Time to play Duff & Phelps administrator bingo... Chalk them off one x one...

'Difficult time'

'working towards a satisfactory outcome'

'stability'

'long term future'

'fresh start'

'debt free'

'our work here is done'

'God save the Queen'

'We are the People'

'It was only a dream'

'difficult time' and 'stability' - chalk em' off in the very first short public statement from Craig's chums Duff & Phelps!

Two down already!

Yes.

Your joy at anything that could possibly mean good news for Rangers in this situation has been unrestrained.

As I said, fooling no one with the crocodile tears.

In that case, and with that amount of insight maybe you should be working for HMRC as well cool.gif

Your incredible powers of deduction delusion are ...... well.... incredible laugh.giflaugh.gif

Fandan.

tells the sorry state of scottish football that rangers are docked 10pts and motherwell are so pish that they are still way off catching them. even if motherwell were 10 pts ahead rangers would catch em

even if motherwell were 10 pts ahead and there were 3 games left in the season rangers would still get second. piss poor!!!

Rangers fans on the internet machine suggesting that they boycott away games, and give the money they would've spent on tickets to Rangers every other week. "That'll show them how much they need the Rangers" apparently.

They showed the other week that most of them don't even want to pay money when their team is playing, fucking idiots.

but if rangers havent the finances at ibrox secure by the 31st ? march.they wont be in the european cups..so it doesnt matter if motherwell or any other team for that matter are ten or 20 points behind and finish third.they are still in europe.and rangers arent.
