ayrmad
If that's the case are there any measures to stop a 'new' Rangers buying out the registration of the old one as a kind of loophole? I wouldn't be back either. F*ck turning up if the competition is a sham. It's been a sham for donkeys, I've watched my club producing shite for years while others spunk OPM with impunity, almost.
Swampy
The legal side of things is totally up in the air but it is 100%, cast-iron, completely guaranteed that on the footballing side the SPL will not even begin to consider a league without Rangers. They've admitted as much already.

Lyle Lanley
I would like to thank Glasgow Rangers Football Club for some wonderful memories over the years. Edited February 14, 2012 by Isaiah Osbourne

Sadly, it's a cartel, and the other clubs will be lubricating their holes and bending over in readiness.
wulliamwallace
Magnificent gesture from Sone Alukos village in Nigeria. They have just donated a set of football strips to Rangers.
Guest
We really shouldn't be so smug about this, this is terrible news for Scottish football. Our small league needs the attention and TV money that the OF bring, and without their away support many clubs would struggle. LOL jokes, GIRUY. They've leeched every penny they can get from Scottish football, but even that wasn't enough for the greedy b*****d. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of c***s.
saintie1977
There is one thing for sure, the HMRC will not be accepting 10p in the pound for the settlement of the debt! It's really bad for the suppliers (pies, progamme printing etc etc) - these guys will struggle to stay in business. This could take ages to sort out as there will be loads of creditors to agree on a cut. On a brighter note other Scottish clubs might get a few of their players on the cheap - any junior teams fancy Lafferty leading their forward line?

You're aware Sone had probably not even set foot in Nigeria until he decided to play for them?

GreenockRover
Not looking to be a FunSucker here fellas but please...... read the WHOLE THREAD...... What Whyte has done today is going to BENEFIT Rangers in the long term He, or more importantly his lawyers, have outwitted the cretins at HMRC who were looking to make an example of a football club and the way they circumvent tax law in this country. In adopting this shit or bust approach they have ended up with the distinct possibility of having to eat a shite sandwich. Rangers are not done. In whatever form you see it, they WILL be back.... The SPL cant have it any other way.... fact. Now - I need to go take a shower - I feel dirty....
phanni tikklar
Nope. I'm sure they will.. If they're still operating as a football club,at ibrox and with whyte still in charge.
