Young Joseph Stalin
Star wars - 0/10. Only managed the first 30 seconds, I wanted to watch a movie not read a book.
DeeTillEhDeh
Perhaps stick to the cartoons until you improve your attention span.Oh nothing wrong with my attention span - I have sat through the 10+ hours of Shoah on more than one occasion.
Albino Rover
Forrest Gump Supposed to be brilliant, turned out to be a film about feathers. Turned off after a minute. 0/10
Ira Gaines
I don't have a problem with turning a movie off early btw. Just don't think you can rate a movie that you haven't actually seen.
Albino Rover
Groundhog Day Just a guy going through a daily routine while at work. Turned off after 15 mins when he went to bed. 0/10

1320Lichtie
Just watched Gone Girl there and thought it was great, very clever. Not the best movie I've saw but a very enjoyable 2 and a half hours. Rosamund Pike is incredible aswell which helps.
Christophe
Don't have a problem slating something I've bailed on and have done so on this thread a few time, f**k 'em! Anyway just came here to slate something as it happens, although didn't bail on it so my opinion is comfortably valid.... -
Christophe
God Help The Girl 1/10 That film by the bloke from Belle and Sebastian. One of the most banal pieces of crap I've ever seen in my life. A couple of the music bits were okay -
SodjesSixteenIncher
Aye, okay, we get the point. Stopped reading after aye but I liked what I saw. Positive, colloquial and not too long a word to read. 9/10.

WhiteRoseKillie
Casablanca - couldn't agree more. Gone Girl - "clever" plot let down by a cast with not one sympathetic character. You've got to be on someone's side at some point, surely? Rating movies you've not made it through - not generally something I make a habit of, but I'll make an exception in the case of American Sniper. If the rest of the movie resembled the first 45 minutes in any way whatsoever, I've used that time in a more useful manner. At least Team America and Starship Troopers gave you a decent giggle with your 'Murican heroes. After all, none of us are without sin...

After all, none of us are without sin... Nobody's perfect, of course, but what a selection of knobs. Could have been a cracking film, as well.
Frankie S
I didn't find the cast of unsympathetic characters in 'Gone Girl' to be much of a problem. Then again I'd seen David Cronenberg's 'Maps to the Stars' not long before it, so 'Gone Girl' seemed like light relief.
11thHour
Eastern Promises - 8/10. Movie never gets old, what a turn from Mortensen. Nightcrawler - 7/10. Very strange but compelling movie. Dont really know if I liked it or not if that makes sense. Starred Up - 7/10. Intense performance from O'Connell, I was pretty steaming watching it so cant really remember that much about it
Mordecai
Just watched Gone Girl there and thought it was great, very clever. Not the best movie I've saw but a very enjoyable 2 and a half hours. Rosamund Pike is incredible aswell which helps. I enjoyed Gone Girl. However, I thought it was good in spite of Rosamund Pike's performance. Whenever she had any sort of dialogue I was close to cringing at how poorly she delivered it. I think this may be an unpopular opinion, maybe that's what the director wanted (I doubt it), but she didn't really work for me.
