Cambuslang Fifer
Great to see the arbroath reunion for Stuart he will sure be addition to help the coaching staff out when needed. Obviously rates Stuart highly in their short time he, pink, John brought him from Berwick to arbroath. Now to get in goalie coach and under 20 coach in and we should be sorted I think.
Cosmic Joe
Brian Easton's goal might be up there with some of Ken Halley's headed efforts from back in the day. What a thing of absolute beauty. The power, the trajectory, the way he almost took the goalie into the back of the net with the ball..
Life on Marrs?
Does anyone know if we need to get tickets in advance for Spartans, or can we just pay cash on the day? Ticket site says £15 for adults, but no mention of kids.

King Kebab
Disappointing to see that Stenhousemuir only require ONE more point to prevent us from winning the League!!! If only Campbell had been brought in earlier!!!

charliewheelen
Evening all, a wee bit of a last minute one here. I'm looking forward interviewing your former manager Darren Young on Monday in the latest episode of my podcast "Today Wheelenterview" and I want to get as many supporters connected to him as possible. That being said, are there any questions you would like me to pose to him, or any stories or insights to share that will benefit my preparation and help me understand the context of the situation at FIfe during his reign from your own perspective in the stands? I've loved having supporters' questions feature and they've worked a charm so far. Congrats on the huge win today and hope Big Dick can lead a playoff charge! All the best P.S. My dad is a Glenrothes-born lifelong Fife fan, remembers seeing a teenage David Beckham in Methil many moons ago!

sammytroot
There is a report in today's Courier giving an update on the proposed fans takeover of EFFC. The salient points are: 1.Mr Rankine backs the move and an agreed share price has been agreed. It is hoped that the change in ownership can be in place by the commencement of next season 2.Talks have been held between the EFSS and both the Board and Management of EFFC with a desire from EFSS to retain the experience and skills of the current EFFC Board. 3.There are proposals to add to the stadium structure 4.There is a desire to continue youth development 5.Financial arrangements to support the bid are almost in place. Fans are advised to look at www.eastfifesupporterssociety.co.uk or East Fie Supporters Society Facebook page. Personally I would like to see a Statement from EFFC Board giving their thoughts on the takeover,

I think you won't hear from the board until the buyout is done as I'm not sure they will want to be seen to be influencing anything at this stage. I'm someone already contributing to EFSS but if/when the takeover is done, I'd imagine you'll then hear directly from the club about everything - which in turn will hopefully get more people to sign up to contribute.

Fair comment. In the meantime, perhaps the club could allow advertising events which are to be held at Bayview on the EFFC website.
