I did get my first-ever 6 in yesterday's Round Britain Quiz when I was driving from Manchester to Birmingham.  The question being:

Q1 (from George L. Gillespie)  According to the King James Bible, what type of fruit grows on the tree of knowledge of good and evil; how many wise men worship the infant Jesus in Matthew's Gospel; what type of fish swallows Jonah; and what is Mary Magdalene's profession?

Why do I get the feeling that every one of these is a trick question?

Anyway, 7/10 for whatever day today is.  Is it time for my pill yet?

I'm going for "fruit not specified", "3", "whale", and "lady of the night".

Forgot to do any league tables btw. And now I'm super busy. so it's not going to happen till tomorrow. If you've got a problem with that, I suggest you speak with the Quizzing Ombudsman.

A whale isn't a fish, is it? Pretty poor for a Cardinal not to be knowing this shit, tbh.

Oh dear.  Lots of guesses and a mid-table 5 for Thursday.  Only knew 3 for sure - the quote, Amanda and the comet (that well-known 60s beat combo).

For those of you quivering with anticipation, I guessed the Aussie sports question wrong.

Same here - first ever 6-pointer.  And then I got my second one with the Burt Reynolds question.

In RBQ terms I made a baws of the 'smokey' question and got a 4.  I knew Smokey Mountains, Smokey and the Bandit and Smokey Robinson but I had it in my head that the northern capital was Edinburgh (Auld Reekie) and didn't even think of Reek-Ya-Vick

The Failed Statelet team should have had your caution.

In fact, 'not specified' for all 4 is the right answer.  Fun Q though.

Less fun is my 5 for Thursday.
