Which game are you getting to here? I'm tempted to go to the Aarau game on Sunday but the missus is still not talking to me on account of the fact I was a filthy alcoholic during my 5 days back home last week, and I don't know if I can push her any further right now. First game back after the winter break though... Sorry I didn't get back to you mate. We did ASM Belfortaine v Dunkerque on Friday night, FC Basel v FC Lugano on Saturday and BSC Young Boys v FC Sion yesterday in a very snowy Bern . The price of drink out there is fcuking outrageous, so surely your wife should understand your filthy alcoholism whilst back in the UK?

He was very busy watching young boys play at the wankdorf stadium. After that he was going to the football. Last heard he was mumping about the cost of drink. £35 to be (at the) Wankdorf old bean, but the Young Boys played nice. I'd love to see your face if you got the bar bill in Basel. A boring 6/10, but no complaints as I had absolutely no idea about the ones I got wrong. I'll echo WRK, more CSN&Y please.

blackislekillie
Phrase of the year so far. I'm tempted to slip it into the next staff meeting. "Fuck off you tedious, life-sapping waste of skin, or I shall cunt you in the face".

welshbairn
Enough of this pointless trivia and "when did this person you've never heard of do this thing you've never heard of" ... how much did you pay for a beer? It was about the same as Dublin prices in Zurich a few years back, pricey but not like Norway. Maybe I found a cheap bar though, just passing through.
eckthearab
Evening all, hope yer all well. It's Diddly Dee Jamjar Trophy first round we replay time. 2 matches drawn over the weekend and all four teams have a chance to make it into the 2nd round draw that will take place on Wednesday. Dee62 v The_Kincardine FrankieS v Leeds Saint The following question is for the above players. Please PM your answer to myself before 5pm Wednesday and the results will follow along with the draw for the 2nd round. Once all the sections of the Great Wall of China are measured, what is the official distance in miles? Good luck!
jagfox
@Cardinal Richelieu I think I've only got a Beazer Championship in the trophy cabinet. Pretty sure no second place finishes in the top flight.
Cardinal Richelieu
Cheers Jagfox. They're the same phantom 2nd place finishes I awarded myself and thought I'd thieved from you. Probably the two best stadiums in Switzerland for watching football. Basel creates a tremendous amount of noise no matter how big the crowd, and the Stade de Suisse(to give it its Sunday name) is extremely comfortable with a great view no matter where you sit, unless you get stuck behind the ultras in the away section. Drinks are expensive here if you are a tourist. Fortunately after 4 years of working here I am now on a fully fledged "Swiss wage" so relative to what I earn it's actually not that bad. I do drink less here and I do complain about the prices, but those two things are absolutely not related. As for my filthy alcoholism, I put that down to being a schemey jake at heart.

Eednud
Hardest question so far today was where the fuck has the quiz feed gone? Good change of name but there will still be many days where it might contain an Aussie question or four, like today with 2. A reasonable 6/10 as knew flag, scapula and King with guesses for film, website and a muff diving. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/mind-games/quiz?quizId=6143§ionId=1
