deadasdillinger
10 years or so ago, every metal gig in Scotland had Mendeed as the support band.
jagfox
Figure 5 were good, got their album as a present. I heard they have in part gone down a different musical path in the form of the progressive sounding Red Sands?
TheScarf
Does the Mull Historical Society count? I know it was really one guy but he had a band with him.
Kilbowie's Finest
Anyone remember The Wendys?? Thought they were fantastic back in the day ( early 90s) - their album Gobbledygook was immense.
Jimmy85
Nick Mercer is actually playing PJ's in Dunfermline tonight. I've seen them a couple of times and they were ok.
Rugster
Played with them at the cathouse my first ever gig aswell! Really nice guys, I bumped into Raymond a couple times after that and despite the fact I don't think he knew who he was stood and chatted for ages. My brother was the drummer for the Ronelles. Biased, but their music was excellent!

D.V.T.
Loved Dogs Die In Hot Cars. Split up after one album and I'm sure one of the band suffered an electric shock on stage. Godhopping is a topper!

invergowrie arab
Loved this lot. Only YouTube videos I can find are like this with someone else playing guitar over the top but still a great listen.
tongue_tied_danny
There was a fair bit of hype surrounding this guy, including some story in the Daily Record that his American relatives are mafia godfathers. These days he keeps a lower profile than Donnie Brasco. This guy had a couple of hits and even won a Brit award before fading away pretty quickly...
tamthebam
Loved this lot. Only YouTube videos I can find are like this with someone else playing guitar over the top but still a great listen. I must have seen them supporting the magnificent Ginger. But whatever happened to the Sluts of Trust? Oh yes, they're now the Board at Ibrox, arf arf.

tamthebam
I wondered what happened to Greek chart bothering Scottish popstrelle Tippi but it seems she's been having it away with Pat Kane's brother.. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/entertainment/music/music-news/hue-and-cry-stars-baby-joy-1552049

paranoid android
The Blue Nile from yonks ago. I wonder what happened to The Officeboy (Gordon Campbell). He put out a good song called "With a woman like you". Doesn't seem to be on youtube. I'll mibbe upload it tomorrow. The Blue Nile were sublime. My sister had Gordon Campbell's single 'With A Woman Like You' with a track called 'You Can't Always Get What You Want' (not the Stones tune) on the b-side - very poppy, but quite good. He had a record label called Honey Records for a while, but I don't think it came to much. He had some success as a songwriter, and may or may not have been involved with the writing of 'Japanese Boy' and 'Merry Christmas Everyone' for Aneka and Shakin' Stevens respectively, both of which were (co)written by Bobby Heatlie senior, and both of which were murder, but would have made the writers a few bob. A name from the past, right enough!
