19QOS19
Another series of 24 Hours in Police Custody is back on. Fooking love that programme. Last nights episode was edge of the seat stuff. Just watched last nights, great television! I can't help question what the guy was playing at?? All that for a Grand? He also didn't try to hide the evidence very well! Just me that wondered if the Escort was in on it? It was said he phoned her to ask where she'd be and then took photos of the guy. Now I've no experience of how that stuff works but if I'm a hooker and someone phones and asks me where I'm going to be, I wouldn't tell them unless they had booked me. I just thought that part was very strange. How did he know the guy was going to be there at that time? My theory was those two/three were working together and had done it before/planned to do it again. All that risk just for a grand?

welshbairn
After watching the citizens of the Moray Field in Edinburgh on The Secret History of Our Streets on BBC 4, I wouldn't be too sad if Assad or Kim dropped some friendly chemical bombs on it.

19QOS19
Lassie on The Chase cashbuilder passed every question bar one. Brad was hardly getting the first 3 words out and she said pass. Then she's taken the lower offer the boot.

You should have posted this on The Chase thread.
19QOS19
The programme wasn't relevant. I was annoyed with the contestant. You bitter, bitter man!

welshbairn
Watching Panorama about Harvey Weinstein. The man's clearly a total c**t but I wouldn't say I'd rather he hadn't been born. If he hadn't been born some brilliant films probably wouldn't have been made. Maybe a bit callous but there we are.

DA Baracus
Troy: Fall of a City on BBC1 has managed to turn legendary source material in to a po faced borefest. I suffered through episode 1 and 2 but have just tapped on episode 3. Quite how you can get this story wrong is almost an achievement. It's just dull, plodding pish. What a waste as there is so much to work with given the source and the cast. They even manage to make interactions with mythical gods, and indeed the gods themselves, boring and inconsequential.

It looked to be in exactly the same mould as Robin hood, Atlantis etc but just changing the setting. They need to make these programmes more adult and gritty. We're too used to HBO and other quality American series now!
Melanius Mullarkey
Is there anyone employed on the fucking telly (or radio fwiw) these days that can pronounce the word “February” correctly?

Daft dance routines with kids and Ant and Dec goofing around dressed as animals trying so hard to be funny. It was as entertaining as saturday night telly 40 years ago with Val Doonican and Bruce Forsyth...I.E. Not!!! If you're too young to remember that you're fucking lucky. Then she wanted to watch the fucking voice!!!!!!!!!! but thankfully she is away now to give me peace
Mark Connolly
Flicked on the telly there and watched a bit of Home and Away for the first time in years. No idea what the storyline was, but very pleased to report that the lovely Ada Nicodemou is still in it and got lots of screentime.
