welshbairn
Watching a documentary about the Anglo Saxons by Michael Wood on BBC4. He's quite good but he insists or has been told by the BBC to wear a big pink scarf wherever he goes, including indoors. Petty but really annoying. Michael Portillo's got a lot to answer for. welshbairn
Another documentary about Elizabethan spies. Apparently when Mary Queen of Scots got her head cut off it took a few whacks (heard that in primary school) and when the axeman picked up her head to show it off to the crowd, it fell away from the wig in his grasp with her lips still mouthing curses, along with her puppy that had been hidden under her cloak running over to lick it. Everyone freaked out.

Miguel Sanchez
There's a thing on channel 4 right now called "The Real Football Fan Show" which seems to be that Arsenal Fan TV thing broadcast Just cut Scotland off and let us leave this place. Vile.

Ziggy
Rather than trying to get to work on time, I’ve been watching repeats of ‘3rd Rock from the Sun’ on Channel 4. It’s much better than going to work.
Shandon Par
Watched the first episode of Barry, on Sky Atlantic. Dark comedy about a hitman looking for a bit of meaning in his life who stumbles across an acting class. Not much more to it than that - just one episode so far. Well worth finding a spare half hour for.
Mark Connolly
On Pointless Celebrities, how come all the charities are "fantastic"? Just once I'd like Alexander Armstrong to say it's a shite charity, or ask "Isn't that one of the ones where only 0.00001% of the revenue actually goes to the cause?"
