HoBNob
Pleased it's been pushed further back, less of a rush and hopefully, gives some more time for Rail Seating to be allowed in England, one of the reasons I got into Brentford was the cracking stadium.

Barry Ferguson's Hat
It's been identified as a stadium and it isn't flying, m8.
Meatwad
Work is progressing rather well at the new ground which York City will share with the local Rugby League team, York City Knights. It is due to open in the mid-2019. It's about 3 miles from Bootham Crescent so not a drastic change of scenery so to speak.
Ex Machina
The new Brentford stadium has been confirmed as having white, yellow, green, red, white and black seats scattered about with no two of the same next to each other. Apparently it's meant to make the stadium look fuller when not at capacity. Should certainly be interesting, it's not gone down well with the fans.
David W
Similar to Sporting/Udinese. It does kind of work but it's a bit tinpot.

Why don’t they just do what St. Johnstone done years ago and have giant cardboard cut outs of fans behind the goal?

I have no idea why it needs “upgraded” at all, it’s already immense. Probably just some sort of cock waving competition because Barca are planning on doing up the Nou Camp.
Bully Wee Villa
Those Sporting and Brentford stands are giving me a migraine.

Probably just some sort of cock waving competition because Barca are planning on doing up the Nou Camp.I don’t think they’re adding any capacity it’s a shell around the existing structure It’ll give them more hospitality facilities, bars, pie stalls etc..The bigger change is the sliding roofWhether it’s rainy enough in Madrid to warrant a sliding roof is unclear It mainly depends on how close to the Plain In Spain they are

jamamafegan
Spurs stadium nearly there. Look closely and you’ll see the safe standing seats. Safe standing also in the away end. Spurs have installed it with the foresight that the laws will be changed, very wise move. What a ground it’s going to be.
