G-MAN
Maloney decision not out today, all gone quiet no one seems to have heard anything. Is it true Niall is still training with us ?
d31
not at training today - think that is all just a rumour. he was in aberdeen for a week or so around magennis' wedding. think folk have just speculated and then others have repeated as fact hope we get maloney

Mcinnes said in press conference today McGinn won't be back. I'm sure we'll find out on maloney soon enough.
DrewDon
Offer McGinn some additional socks and I'm sure he will sign up for another season or two.
anotherchance
Deek in the Sun tomorrow saying we knocked back a bid for McLean, supposedly 300k (chortle) from the ***.Slight concern for me is that they come back much later in the window with a proper bid, giving him and us a decision to make and no time to replace him.
Ira Gaines
Pedro would rather make proper bids for foreign players, and make shite ones for Scottish ones. So you're probably safe.

Does rather seem to have an aversion to paying a fair market price for a Scottish player, but no issue splashing the cash ( or tick book) on foreigners with fancy names nae fucker has ever heard of. coprolite
Does anybody know why things don't appear to have worked out so well for Stewart at Birmingham?
Guest
Apparently we have some German defender in on trial with us this week, guy called Berkay Dabanli
RandomGuy.
Why are Rangers fans in a huge huff about you rejecting offers for McLean? More than a few suggesting it's a conspiracy that you'll sell to Celtic and not them, seemingly failing to understand the difference between a £1.3m+Christie deal, and a £300k in three installments deal. Keep up the good work, lads.

It's a curlywurly up front, and £10 installments for the next 100 years.

sjc
Good signing for the Dons so far. Still think you need to replace the pace of Hayes though.

This was posted by Cowden Cowboy in our forum - "Greg Stewart joins Aberdeen on season long loan from Birmingham. Good to see Greg back in Scotland - never understood why Birmingham signed him as they seemed to have no idea how to use him. They played with a big target man and relied on hard work and power rather than any footballing ability. They seemed to think Greg was some kind of a winger and then spent their time getting him to track back rather than set him free in any playmaking capacity" It's pretty accurate. He wasn't used right at City but at Aberdeen I expect him to flourish. Give him freedom to roam and he'll be one hell of a signing. Make him stick to the wing and do a lot of defensive work and he'll be less effective.
d31
Sounds like a straight replacement for McGinn by that write up. Based on his two seasons at Dundee he'll actually be better than McGinn from open play which is exciting. As above still need to replace Hayes with a like for like replacement as we wont ask Christie to play the full season as a winger. Someone like Craig Conway might fit the bill
