Probably more important than the fact he was in Gothenburg in 1983. Probably.

Sometimes I'm nostalgic for the days of Stewart Milne.

Milne: "Peter, fit div ye wunt aboot the voting?" Listens intently "'At'll dee, loon."

Ach, it's just Dave showing that he's a man of the people.

As long as the people are tanned, shiney teethed businessmen straight out of 1980's Dallas.

My guess?

Some announcement on the youth side, with young players going to Atlanta & vice-versa.

That’ll be why Simmy is going to be there.

Travel restrictions to America to be relaxed too.

Maybe Simmy and he are reenacting Hewitt's goal in a Phoenix from the Flames type scenario from the Ullevi.

He's a bit of a romantic sentimentalist is Dave.

Did he mention where the statue is to be located? It's been long overdue. I remember laughing at the one of Bobby Robson outside St James Park and the Billy Bremner statue outside Elland Road isn't much better.  The Fergie statue at Old Trafford is very good facially but I'm not sure about the folded arms pose. It looks like we'll go for the complete opposite if @betting competition is correct and that's good as it captures youthful Fergie at Aberdeen.

Let's hope the artist doesn't balls it up...

Cormack is a bit cringe at times and probably a touch narcissistic, but he is streets ahead of Milne. People just need something to moan about sometimes.

There's plenty to moan about with Cormack but he's played a blinder here.
