Some ok songs from 2000, but it would have been a better TV episode given Kylie, Samantha Mumba, Steps, the Corrs and Destiny's Child all feature

Holt actually asked whether a move to Lille was a step up.

I am not a French football expert by any means but based on a quick search, Lille are typically a team challenging for Europe in the league and one that struggles to get out of the group stages when they do make it to the CL & EL. Rangers are ranked higher in the 19/20 UEFA coefficients.

Morelos will undoubtedly get more money there but for me, it's not an outrageous statement.

Well he's playing in a better team, for more wages in a better league for a start.

From Transfermarkt ;
Sevco squad value = £47.63m
Lille squad value = £212.09m
Just sayin', likesay........

Irrelevant. Ligue 1 is undoubtedly a better quality.

Yes, a better league, but not necessarily a better team and definitely not a bigger club.

TBF have Lille not been bought over by some daft rich lad (certain they spunked a fortune on Renato Sanches and Dolberg).

In terms of potential they'll be far larger than a Rangers side who are signing released Wigan players.

72 million for Pepe and potentially 90 million for Oshimen has helped balance their books massively.

Lille aren't a bigger or probably even better club than Rangers.

However, playing in Ligue 1 which gets more TV money than both Serie A and La Liga for some reason, it's a better league with much more money. Good bit of business for him to get away from the Scottish press and intense scrutiny he gets over here, whilst probably doubling his wages.

The reason is that the rights were bought by Bein Sports, who are from Qatar. By sheer coincidence, Paris Saint-Germain are owned by Qataris. So to ensure PSG adhere to FFP rules, they needed to get a bigger lump of TV cash, which Bein Sports were happy to supply.

Alright, you don't need to go on about it. The Saudis nick the Bein stream and distribute it for free anyway, the cheeky c***s. I'd imagine the Qataris might start reducing their rights investments with France and the UK doing fuckall about it.

Thanks, it makes more sense the way you put it.
