If Hateley is offloaded to some (completely mental obviously) club in Europe, does that mean we can look forward to a tear-stained "article" from his fuckwit dad in whichever shite newspaper he crayons for these days, no doubt citing our "lack of ambition" and failure to "understand what he brings to the game"?

He's fucking shite and his old man's a c**t.

Thank you.

The Courier says this morning that Kaiserslautern are interested in Hately. That is some fall from grace. Champions League quarter finals in 1999 and two UEFA Cup semis and now they're tempted by Tom Hately. I guess it's not too disimilar to us though given that we went from watching a team including Temuri Kestbaia and Claudio to appointing Alan Kernaghan as manager within four years.

Please never, ever use his name in this thread. Gave me a cold shiver just thinking about those days.

Thank you.

Lets warm up for the Derby this Sunday with a reminder of the Derry's final barrierless stampede.

Paul Heffernan - the man who got the Derry shut down. Unreal. What a night this was and what a celebration.

Thank you.

Tom Hateley is a real divisive figure amongst our fans, eh? You either hate him or just really, really dislike him.

Hopefully whoever is in cherge of recruitment at Kaiserslautern continues to have whatever sort of mental episode they are having and follows up on their interest in the ineffectual wage thief.

If his departure is required to free up a wage for Meekings then ideally McCann and Nelms will be in Germany tomorrow giving a well rehearsed Dragon Den-esque sales pitch to get him punted. A one-legged Meekings would have far more impact on a game than Hateley. I don't even mean Meekings with a dodgy knee, I mean Meekings with his actual leg amputated.

Danke.

I think it's harsh to blame Hateley on Hartley, as I imagine most of us would have jumped on the chance to sign him at the time.
That doesn't mean he wasn't pish. So glad he is potentially on the way out.

Maybe but I wouldn't have given the c**t a 3 year deal.

There were quite a few doubters here mainly due to the into from Well fans.
